Re: Protecting Our Borders[Event]
Palepaw trotted foward, intrested. She wanted to see vengeance against ThunderClan about as much as the next cat, but she tried to keep her excitement about hidden. She didn't want to seem to excited about the prospect. "Consider me intrested. I'll gladly help." Sedgestorm joined the crowd as well, albeit more reluctantly. He'd joined RiverClan to avoid being a pawn of war, but he supposed in this instance it was.... warranted. Though he wasn't sure how he felt about being part of now a second attack on ThunderClan, as a member of a different Clan. It felt strange, even if the tactics seemed to be more indirect. "I'll help. He perhaps wasn't nearly as eager as the rest of his Clanmates, but he wasn't going to turn his nose up at duty. |
Re: Protecting Our Borders[Event]
Littlepaw nodded and walked up im in! maybe he could get some pranking I’m as well! Oh how fun that would be
Aspenpaw slowly walked up I... I guess I can help he said shyly looking at his paws not making eye contact Russetkit ran up I want to help! What will shells do to help! she asked, well it was more like she snapped but she would count it as talking... meanly |
Re: Protecting Our Borders[Event]
Palebrook Palebrook came foward idmeitely. "I will most certainly help," She meowed quickly. This would benefit the Clan, so of course she would help.Frostpaw Frostpaw followed more hesitantly. She was sure if she wanted to do this. It sounded boring. But maybe it would make her a warrior faster or something. She pressed her ears to her head as her Clanmates cheered their I'm ins! This better start soon, or she might lose it.(Both open) |
Re: Protecting Our Borders[Event]
Bumblestep's ears perked at the call from his deputy. Help fortify the borders? Sounds smart. He thought with a hum. He could see many warriors and apprentices had already beat him to the clearing, eager to help in any way they could. Even the kits were begging to be involved!
"If you want, I can help out with the kits Splashleap." The tom offered, looking fondly at the young ones. --- @gs29513 |

Re: Protecting Our Borders[Event]
Splashleap hadn't really expected to be approached immediately, but only a few cats had appeared before Darksun came over to her. She didn't seem hostile or unfriendly, but the deputy wasn't enthused by the suggestion. It wasn't as though she hadn't thought about it, it was fairly obvious that splitting the cats at least between camp and the border was the best course of action. Did the other molly really think her that incapable of doing her job? Forcing her tone to remain neutral, Splashleap mewed shortly Thank you for the suggestion. before another cat came up to her.
Maybe she was overreacting. Maybe she was being insecure and needed to lighten up. But this was.......starting to rub her the wrong way just a little bit. Starlingflight was a nice cat, sure. But her wording wasn't the most neutral, most of her 'suggestions' coming out more like orders. Which Splashleap wasn't quite ready to take lying down. Maybe if she hadn't just goofed up in front of the clan....fine. But when it seemed fairly clear some cats weren't confident in her abilities, herself included if she was honest, it felt necessary to stake her claim a bit. Perhaps you should take care of the mud and the reeds, since you seem so set on the idea. she mewed, a edge of hostility invading her mew. It wasn't the most subtle or effective, but at least Starlingflight would get muddy. Well, at least her strategy of taking volunteers hadn't been a miserable failure. Considering her track record it was a surprise, but Splashleap wasn't about to complain. The more paws they had the better a job they could do and the faster they could get it done. And it was more likely someone would notice any mistakes made. There were bound to be some, especially if kits were working, and they seemed to be one of the groups over-represented if anything. Bumblesteps offer to keep an eye on them was more than welcome in Splashleap's eyes, and she shot him a quick, grateful glance. Her attention was quickly attracted by Vinepaw and Stormtalon, who appeared to be getting into an argument. Really she should have expected the troublesome molly would be involved in any raising of voices, although it was nice to see she had come to help. Still, a rebuke was in order. Vinepaw, please keep your mouth shut. You yelling is not productive. Splashleap huffed, before turning back to the rest of the cats. Time to figure out who was going where. The kits were easy in that regard at least. They certainly wouldn't be going anywhere near the Thunderclan border. Bumblestep, Heronflight she was pretty sure the molly was a queen anyway and......Bluegaze. Two queens and a cat who wanted to deal with the little hairballs. I would appreciate it if you could take Webpaw, Morningpaw, Fiercepaw and no, not Vinepaw, they didn't deserve that Amberpaw with you to collect some shells. That should be enough cats to get a fair number anyway. Once you bring them back to camp, the kits can help you weave them into the dens. Now for Starlingflight and her idea, which Splashleap had to admit(internally, she wouldn't be caught dead praising it externally) was a good one. Starlingflight, you can take Lilyfrost, Stormtalon, Vinepaw and Yellowpaw to work on the camp walls. If you need to further divide your groups that's fine, just make sure you're at least in pairs. Maybe that was a bit overkill, but it was definitely a good idea to make sure they weren't easy targets for any interlopers. The irony of them being attacked as they fortified........she didn't want to tempt it. The rest of the cats would be going with her. The Thunderclan border was the main point of this after all. The rest of you, we're going to the collect seashells and then distribute them at the Thunderclan border. Olivenose Splashleap added, her head swinging to the energetic molly If you could take Rosepaw, Silverpaw and Lilyfrost to the spots you know for shells that would be greatly appreciated. Every cat will grab some before we head to the border, but some cats might have to go back for more. And she was pretty sure that was everything, or everyone. Her head darting about once more, quickly, Splashleap trotted quickly out of camp. Off to collect some shells! |
