I have Owlkit! She’s 4 moons old so a little older, but she would definitely not give the rock back and might even start the fight herself? @Wingnettle

That would be fine, but I'd need to change the plot a little bit since now Mintpaw is 8 moons old and more mature. What if she freaked out initially because she thought she lost it, and then she sees the kit playing with it? Then she asks it back and Owlkit could "fight" her (more like a bickering, Mintpaw wouldn't raise one paw against her). Mintpaw would probably try to convince her with a calm discourse - so, how would Owlkit react to that?
Normally Mintpaw would just give up and leave the kit, but she plans that stone to be a special gift so she really has to take it back.

Owlkit is highly irritable and a little narcissistic, so she wouldn’t see herself as having done anything wrong and more than likely she would respond with irrational anger. By that, I mean she would verbally lash out, refuse to give the stone back, and maybe even strike Mintpaw (or try to). The stone would have to be forcibly taken from her, and even then she would hang on for dear life.
If this is outside the realm of you plot I totally get that, just thought I would throw her out there since I have her established already!

I think it can work. @Cherry~ What do you think? Should Slatestripe as an older warrior step in and give Owlkit a lesson? Otherwise Mintpaw could stalk Owlkit forever until the kit - maybe - gives up or does something stupid to get free again.

@oci Alright, I'll set up a new thread to begin the plot again. Owlkit will have to sneak in the apprentices' den and make quite some chaos to find her stone, since Mintpaw hides it in her nest. (it might be more noticeable from its gleaming)
When she'll notice it can't be found anywhere, she'll know someone must have taken it. You can decide whatever to do with Owlkit then, just don't go out of camp since it's forbidden. If Mintpaw sees the kit with the stone, she'll approach her and start the discussion. When it'll be time for Slate (Mintpaw's mentor) to intervene, I'll mention her and wait if she's still on a hiatus. Everything sounds clear?
