Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
While a very easygoing cat, Sweetleaf would not have others intruding on Skyclan's borders- she felt more protective towards her clan than the usual cat, very likely due to her kittypet roots. Stepping up beside Fennelsnarl, she narrowed her sapphire eyes into little more than slits, hackles raised and fur on end as she took in the exchange. Warily, her eyes followed the movement of the DS cats' feet, a low hiss crawling its way from her throat as they drew closer. "One more step," she began, a dangerous tone creeping into her soft voice, "and I swear I'll rip you to shreds." She... couldn't, probably. Her fighting skills had never been the best, to be honest. But intimidation was always worth a try, she supposed- even if her purebred, fluffy pelt wasn't the most frightening. |
Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
"A kittypet? Ripping us to shreds? Well, I've never heard of such a thing!" Shadow hissed, lifting his paw in the air, acting like he was about to step over the border. "What's going to happen if I step over? Hmm?" He smirked, knowing he was getting on their nerves. He wanted a fight, and would get it one way or another.

Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
Padding along the trodden down grass, a light breeze ruffling through her fur, Ashenpaw felt genuinely happy for the first time in awhile. Her paw was practically almost healed and she was back to her regular apprentice training after being cleared by Ebonypaw. Despite the fact that Cinderpaw was still being weird around her, life for the young SkyClan she-cat was rather well off. "Ashenpaw," she mewed in response to the warrior's question. She admired Sweetleaf and her colorful personality, always happy and smiling. She hoped that one day her life could be that splendid.
Swiveling her ears forward at a sudden noise, her blue eyes widened in shock as just across the border, three Syndicate cats revealed themselves. Her fur stood on end and a slight tremor traveled through her. "Are those Syndicate cats?" she whispered to Sweetleaf, not taking her eyes off them incase they decided to attack right then and there. Unconsciously, her claws slid out and sank into the grass, more so to steady herself than anything. |
Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
Albeit a bit irked that Fennelsnarl had given the attack command without consulting her clanmates- after all, she was no high rank- Sweetleaf was glad to have a release for her anger. Being called a kittypet, while it would formerly have been true, ignited a spark not much could get to, dragging back not-so-fond memories. A soft and rumbling hiss erupted from her mouth as the longhaired feline, teeth bared and claws unsheathed, stepped towards one of the Dusk Syndicate cats. She didn't notice how dangerous the Savannah looked, being almost twice her size- only that he seemed vaguely familiar, and the memories she had of him weren't good ones. Eyes only slits at this point, the molly leaped, claws pointed straight towards the chest of the tom. |

Singe was about to leap at the mouthy Skyclan cat. How dare they just, call an attack? It was some harsh words, but nothing, even the evil hearted tom knew was nothing to fight over. He wished to leap to his companions aid and shove the fierce and rude cat away, but he had to deal with another problem. Like that the Skyclan cats seemed to be listening to the rude warrior. Some mouse brains they seemed to be. But if it's what they desired, Singe would take some anger out. Besides, they seemed to be asking for it. As the warrior launched at him, he braced, standing his ground, flicking his ears back with a vicious snarl. He wouldn't allow his patrol to be taken down by these battle happy cats. He would fight them. |

A part of the gray apprentice knew that some cat should go back to warn Grousestar. Eyes darting towards the camp, Ashenpaw judged the distance between herself and Shadow, and the time it would take her to cover it. "Why don't you Syndicate cats go sit in the shadows and lurk there instead of trying to take Clan territory?" she spat, hoping that he was distracted by her words enough that he wouldn't notice the miniscule steps she began to take sideways towards the escape route. |

While Sweetleaf had been hoping the tom wouldn't dodge, she also wasn't very experienced in fighting, and wasn't certain how hard to leap. As such, her jump was rather lacking in strength. Her claws- while striking a glancing blow against the tom's chest- didn't pierce as deeply as she'd hoped. The molly, stunned by the force of the tom's chest after he'd braced his muscles, fell backwards, rolling onto her side and breathing heavily before beginning to climb to her feet. Her long fur, though, had other plans- tangling in a nearby briar, it significantly hampered her movement as she continued her attempt to stand, the tug at her side rendering the scrambling of her long legs futile. A deep hiss coming from her throat, Sweetleaf helplessly continued tugging. Her battle skills were bad enough as it was- but this added another element to the equation, and one she knew was not in her favor. |

Singe was shoved back somewhat by the collision. He was momentarily shaken and took a second to realize what exactly had happened. Sure he was big, tall and menacing, and used that to protect himself, but he wasn't invincible, he still felt pain, even if he didn't show it. He was winded, the air knocked from him. He saw though, the weak excuse for a warrior, her long fur tangled in a bush. Smiling menacingly, he advanced, letting his body loom over her. This scene for him looked oddly familiar, similar to the time he killed Kestrelglide to show his capabilities. This was a different situation though. This was an act of revenge. "How does it feel, knowing that after so many victories, you are finally loosing?" He asked, bending down and placing his maw closer to her. |

Sweetleaf bared her teeth at the tom, snapping her maw at his nearby visage in anger- and fear, although she was trying not to show it. Struggling against the grasp of the briar, she felt a sharp pain at her side as she began to break free. In between tugs at the prickly bush she spoke, spitting the words stright into the ear of the larger tom. "I..will..not...lose!" spat the molly, her frantic writhing only getting her coat more tangled. The knot of fur was beginning to tear from her body, but Sweetleaf knew it wouldn't be fast enough. She nevertheless continued the struggle, unable to flee from the claws and fangs she was sure were soon to come. Eyes locked on the tom's, she could see the glint of evil Singe bore, almost shying away as she pulled, getting more desperate every second. |

Singe was getting that feeling again. The feeling he had had as leader, as the killer that every cat in Windclan feared. It was that feeling of victory that feeling of power. It was the feeling he always had as he was about to claim another victim. Some times, he held at least a little remorse, a little grief over the cats he was killing. He normally felt a little respect for the bravery if the cat that stood up to him. It's how it was with Kestrelglide and those two elders in Windclan when he was establishing his rulership. He hadn't felt it when he stole a life from Dapplestar, and he wasn't feeling it now. Singe's face was twisted in rage that just kept throbbing and pulsing underneath his pelt. This was it, he would take a least a piece of revenge on Skyclan. This poor she cat, stick and entangled in the briars, would pay for his rage and anger against her entire Clan. He knew nothing about this cat, except for the fact she was a part of the Clan that had caused his demise. He wanted revenge. He lunged, and it was over. He dug his teeth into her neck, caring enough to make it quick. As he felt e warm satisfying flavor of fresh blood, he slowly pulled back. He smiled once again down to the cat who's life was fading away. "You are paying for your Clans wrong doings against me. If you need to justify anything, you can go off the fact you died for your dumb, worthless Clan." and with that, he turned away, almost completely unharmed, ready to help if the others were in need. |

She wasn't fast enough to break free of the briar- wasn't fast enough to escape the snapping jaws of the Savannah looming over her. The bite of his maw around her neck was nearly painless. A moment of pain, a cough of blood, and then- nothing. No piercing cold or burning heat, nothing the elders' stories had informed her was true about death. Floating a few fox-lengths above the new grass, she could see everything- her own body, blue eyes staring into space; Ashenpaw, Fennelsnarl, the Dusk Syndicate cats. She wanted to tell them to run, but she couldn't- her mouth refused to make a sound. If one looked closely, they would see the faintest outline of a cat, moving steadily up into the sky. She'd died young, but happy with what she'd done. She'd left a legacy of kindness, of friendliness, of love. She would've liked to have done much more- but this was destiny, she supposed. A soft, sad smile curling the corners of her mouth, the molly ascended into Starclan, leaving behind the world she'd lived in. |

Singe had finished with the first, now he had to move on. He watched as Pardus and the Skyclan cat dueled it out. He stood by in the sidelines, rp ready to help. To him though, Pardus looked capable of taking care of this himself, but he was young, so he was there to help. He didn't want the cat to get away with just a few injuries. And if it came to it, another casualty. |

Shadow hissed in anger as he watched Ashenpaw gain control in the fight, about to attack the SkyClan apprentice. But he knew this was Pardus' fight, and stayed back, but would attack the apprentice of he had to. The SkyClan cats thought they could try to order the Dusk Syndicate around, tell them to not cross the border they think is there. They would do what they wanted, and no-one could stop them. Not even the mouse-brained SkyClan cats.

Seeing that the trainee had become pinned under the Skyclan cat and was suffering from wounds, Singe decided to intervene. Sure he knew Pardus could most likely handle it to a certain extent, but he didn't need the younger cat getting mortally wounded out here. He didn't want to give the Skyclan cats a sliver of victory. As he charged, aiming for the apprentice. He aimed to ram the cat in the side, enough force built up in his muscles to knock Ashenpaw off his paws. |

The tom looked down at the apprentice, somewhat shocked. Why... That was what surprised him the most. Why. A question. Not an ominous threat, not a malicious promise, just asking Pardus the one question he could never answer. He shook himself, suddenly feeling somewhat queasy as he remembered the blood on his paw... not just his paw, all over his fur. He was pretty sure it was his own blood. Wait, that meant he was bleeding. Staring at her he stumbled back, unconsciously going deeper into SkyClan territory. |
Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
Fennelheart could see her clanmates badly injured while she only had a few minor scratches,"Severs you right." She spat enraged, despite the battle was over.

@AbsurdJinx @Turtlestrike @Suspiciousmindz @Pathos @The Eye Of The Storm (Ahh I'm sorry I was the first to post ;v; ) The brown tabby stalked through the territory, his companions by his side. They were ordered to go sniff around for clan cats, make sure they knew their place when it came to border lines. In all honesty he didn't care for the new system, borders, rules, they didn't have to follow them, they could do as they pleased. Sadly the commander thought it was...best if they abided by Skyclans rules for now, it made his blood boil. Orion stopped and perked his ears, he could have sworn he heard another cat talking. The fighter turned his golden hues upon his companions and shot them a toothy grin, his eyes lit up with menace and amusement, finally, something he could look forward to. "Smell that? I smell the weak. What's the plan? Wanna attack them? Cuz I really want to." he giggled, his tail lashed as he waited for an answer from his comerads. He wanted that pleasure of ripping apart those clan cats, hearing their cries, it was one of the only pleasures he could find nowadays. Even if they said no, he wasn't going to listen to them, his mind was made up, from what he could tell there was only one, possibly two cats patrolling at the moment, it shouldn't be too hard to kill them. |
Re: SkyClan | Dusk Syndicate Border
Aspenflash guided the patrol along the Dusk Syndicate border. Lately, the group belonging to the dark forest had been causing havoc to SkyClan. The last patrol to walk the same border he now walks were brutally attacked - don't think about it. There was a heavy pit at the center of his stomach, weighing him down. He repeatedly told himself nothing bad would happen, but he couldn't help but doubted that. He stood tall, and his head swiveled in an alert manner. He thought himself insane to let Coconutpaw tag along, but back at camp, he was sure the patrol would just go swimmingly, but now... The point was that she lacked the proper training to defend herself, and if they were to get attacked... He couldn't bear watching her die - he'd go insane! And Jayfall - Aspenflash didn't know the fellow tomcat very well, but he'd seen him around camp. As far as he was aware, the two were on fair terms. So far, the patrol has been well. However, there was the disturbing, remaining scents of the previous battle between the Dusk Syndicate and SkyClan. Dried blood stained the ground, and tufts of fur littered the earth. But, most strong of the scents was that of the Dusk Syndicate. This is where Aspenflash abruptly halted, his nose twitching at the abundance of smells. He glanced back at Jayfall, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. ``Do you smell that? Fresh Dusk Syndicate - they must think they own this piece of territory now, the squirrel-brains. I'm positive they're still here, don't you agree?`` After receiving Jayfall's response, Aspenflash glanced at Coconutpaw. He was sure to display calmness, not wanting to upset the young she-cat. ``Keep your claws unsheathed, and be alert. And stay close to me,`` He beckoned her near with his tail, ``I won't let anything happen to you, I promise.`` |
