"I don't get it." Atazi looked up at Bunga. "They hate me for something I didn't mean to do. If they acted more mature, then I wouldn't be next in line and Nigel or Kevin would be king!" She trembled, like a leaf. "Why do they hate me?"

Atazi cracked a smile. "Bunga. That's a nice name, ain't it?" She rubbed her eyes dry, and stood up. "Sorry for the waterworks pal." She smiled again.

"Atazi's a nice name too. And dont worry about it." Bunga chuckled, relaxing slightly. "I know how cruel brothers can be." The words were out before he could stop them, and he added rather quickly. "I mean, not that i'd know personally, of course!" |

"Ah.." Bunga flinched, though not visibly. "Kion and Chaka, adoptive brothers. They can be real pains sometimes. But thats it. No other family. At all. Yep." He cleared his throat. |

"Mhm." Bunga nodded, not meeting her gaze. "When I was little I got passed around alot. Then I met Timon and Pumba, who introduced me to Kion, who introduced me to Chaka. They're like my brothers." |

"Eh, he has a point." Atazi gestured. "This place is a bore, Zu. Leet's liven it up-" She facepawed. 'Goddesses, I sound like Kevin and Nigel." She groaned.
"Those two dorks?" A familiar voice came from the door. It was Cole, Atazi's ex. He was a beautiful white tiger with warm amber eyes and almost blue stipes. He was a tall tiger, built to be a high-class warrior in King Borealis' court. "Cole!" Atazi's face almost brightened up. "You're here too?" "Yeah, they have a good athletics program." Cole chuckled, stepping around Bunga and attempting to nuzzle Atazi. Atazi jerked away, and gave him a glare. "What?" "Don't forget, Cole, we broke up." Atazi said cooly, "I'm glad you're here, but we're just friends." Cole coughed. "Right, right. |

Bunga showed no emotion as he looked at Cole. Finally the honey badger turned away. "Im gonna go look for the others. We'll most likely be nearby the school Taz, if you wanna escape class." He said simply, before bounding out. |

Kion had Chaka pinned, tugging on his ear playfully. Chaka batted at his nose, trying to kick him off as he let out mock snarls. Then both of them stopped and looked up when they heard Atazi, looking bewildered. "Hey guys!" Bunga grinned, walking forward. "Oblivious idiots." "We're not oblivious." Chaka objected, then looked at Kion. "Get off." "Nope." Kion promptly laid down on top of his best friend, head raised triumphantly. "Help us." Jace begged, rolling onto his back. "They're dancing. They're just dancing around eachother." Vexy groaned, facepawing. "Not even the Love Doctor can handle this one." "We're gonna die if they leave us hanging any more!" Vincent sighed, covering his eyes with his paws. "Thats just sad." Bunga sighed, while Kion and Chaka exchanged bewildered glances. |

Atazi snickered. "Oblivious indeed. Cubs, isn't it obvious you two love each other?" She poked Kion and Chaka's noses. "But what do I know, I'm just a random stranger... who can see it from a mile away!"

Kion's eyes widened and he leaped up off of Chaka. Chaka sat up at once, wide-eyed. For a moment neither of them spoke, not even looking at eachother. "Watch this." Bunga whispered to Atazi, rolling his eyes at the two. "Vincent eats snails!" Kion blurted out. Chaka burst out laughing, while Vincent's face turned red. "They do this every time we try to get them to see it." Bunga huffed. "Oblivious fools." |

Kion smiled at Chaka, standing and padding off toward the lake. I never had this feeling before. He gives me shakes and shivers I cant ignore. And I see that theres more now than just.... Running free. I've never felt my heart beat so fast. Chaka watched him with a smile, padding slowly after. Im thinking of him first and of myself last. And how happy I want him to be. Its amazing someone in my life, Just might be loving me. I didnt know that I could feel this way. Kion glanced back at him and smiled. Its so crazy something in my life, Is better than a dream. I didnt know that I could feel this way. Chaka sighed longingly. He makes me warm and happy inside. He smiles and I get dizzy and starry eyed. "All these feelings, I have have me asking," They suddenly sang out at the same time, then blinked at eachother. "Can this be love?" Chaka felt his face warm up and looked away. "Can this be love?" Kion echoed, staring down into the water, his face red. Though in his reflection, half of his face was shadowed out. "Its crazy." Chaka sang almost unconsciously, padding to his side and looking down. He stared down with wide eyes, half of his face piecing together with Kion's. "I can hardly speak, Whenever he says hi." "I didnt know that I could feel..." Chaka raised his head, looking at Kion. "I never dreamed that I could feel..." Kion looked back at him, blinking. "I didnt know that I could feel this..... Wayyyy..." |
