Teddie hissed. "You don't understand, Splitside. Moonlight is more than just a villain." She cut the vines trapping the woman and set her free. Teddie quickly jumped back and horror hit her. My parents were in the highest ranks in the Heros. I was supposed to take their place! But here I am now, banned from ever entering the Hero's Base! What have I done!? "I'm sorry, Splitside!" Teddie broke down into tears, falling to her knees. "I should have told you! I never should have accepted the offer! I shouldn't even be alive right now! This is all my fault!" She sobbed, unable to stand or even move other than nod her back up and down lightly as she cried.

Teddie slammed her fist on the ground and stood up. "Mother was right... Heros can be the bad guys..." She mumbled, glaring at Splitside. "I don't need to be a High Rank. All I need is friends. People who I trust. That's not you anymore." She backed up 'til she was standing in front of Moonlight. "That person is Moonlight now. I'm sorry, Splitside. But you even said to my face that I was never to be accepted back into the Hero's Base. And I take orders very seriously. Moonlight is my friend. She could have left me when you attacked. And yet she saved me." Teddie turned to Moonlight, her smile hidden by her mask. "I always had thought about what was on the inside more than what's on the outside. You are more than a Villian, Moonlight. Way more. You're a person. Just like me." Teddie turned her head to Splitside, glaring at her. "Have fun trying to get me back in, because I'm following the one I trust." She hissed and turned back to the Villian Leader.

Teddie watched Splitside disappear. Hope I never see her again. Now, what did AHH!! She was caught off guard when Moonlight grabbed her and pulled her into a big hug, saying that she was very grateful and that Teddie was the best friend she could have wished for. Teddie hugged back, smiling. "My mother told me that even the ones I trusted from the start can be my enemy." When Moonlight finally let go, Teddie stepped back and thought for a moment. "Come to think of it, when she and my father were still in control, they let Villians and Heros be friends. I think she even let some villains into the Hero Base before they were killed. I don't even know who the current leader is, but whoever they are, they had the base moved so Villians couldn't find it." She counted on her fingers and looked back up at Moonlight. "I think what you did to my parents broke the bond between the heroes and villains. Revenge is not very nice, or pretty, and can end badly for both sides, I guess..." Teddie brushed her pants and glanced around. "Um... what now? I guess I'll be on the move now..." She took three steps away and froze when Moonlight called her back.

Teddie glanced back. Moonlight really wanted her to stay. "Restoring that bond might be impossible." She said, facing the Villian Leader. "Because I have nowhere else to go... I guess I can tag along with you. But please don't follow me like you're a flea to a dog. I really don't need someone standing over my shoulder." Teddie rolled her eyes and walked back to Moonlight.

Teddie crossed her arms at Moonlight's happiness. She really is a girl underneath. She took the walkie-talkie and scanned it. "Interesting..." She said, looking over the other one. "Is this supposed to be a walkie-talkie?" Teddie asked.

Teddie nodded, stuffing the walkie-talkie into her backpack, and started giggling at Moonlight's warning. "I'll probably forget it's even in there." She said. "Now what?"

Teddie gulped as they got out into the city. Moonlight led the way to a bank. Teddie knew there would be security guards inside. Meaning they would have to hurt someone to get in. "Please promise me you won't hurt anyone on purpose." She said to Moonlight, while also keeping an eye out for any Heroes.

[ I want Teddie to be snatched while they are running to the exit and Moonlight doesn't realize that Teddie is not by her side until halfway to the villain's base. ]

Teddie shook her head at Moonlight's answer. She opened her mouth to say something but her hand was grabbed and Teddie couldn't even see her body anymore, making her freak out. She watched the guards staring ahead as they walked through to a vault. Moonlight handed her a pen-like tool and told her to touch it on the pad. Teddie's hands were shaking as she pressed the sharp edge onto the pad, letting her friend change the code. "Won't this make a loud creaking noise? Won't this set off an alarm?" Teddie whispered her questions.

She told herself as she tried to run back, pausing multiple times for long breaths. She had ran all the way here and she was trying to go back now. Teddie was scared. She closed her mouth right away. "She... she... she..." Teddie was unable to find the words. "You don't understand her backstory! She's just like me and you! I don't care if I'm betraying my parents! My mother told me that I don't have to follow my destiny! I... I... she just... she..." Teddie kept trying to pull away when she remembered the walkie-talkie. She removed one of the straps on her backpack and dug out the device and tried to press the button with one hand.

Teddie was almost thrown to the ground when Moonlight attacked Splitside. She watched in fear, her hands against her mask where her mouth would be, sweating, her breath against her mask. Please don't kill her... Teddie panicked, watching this.

Teddie gasped when Splitside fell unconscious. She ran to the Hero's side and shook her lightly. "Splitside?" She jumped when she heard a yell. Teddie stepped back as Moonlight stood in front of her as a woman walked out of the shadows. Teddie gasped. It's... my mother.

Teddie's mother, whose name was Firelight, or Flame for short, looked much more battle-hardened since the attack. Her face had a red fox mask on it, like Teddie's purple bear mask, and her hair was tied up in a ponytail. She was wearing a tattered dark purple shirt and ripped-up jeans and ruined tennis shoes. Strapped to her back was a kind of staff with fire on the top. "Moonlight." Her voice was strong and strict. "So we meet again." She ripped her mask off and showed her dark green eyes with dark circles under them and a very scarred face, not from the attack, but from other attacks after the attack that took Teddie away from her parents. "M-M-Mother!" Teddie choked out.
