Kane could tell that Ciara was having a memory attack with the way she felt feeling her head. He put one hand on Jamie's shoulder. "Ciara is starting to have a moment. You can ask me your questions." He said, taking Jamie out of the room as Ciara down, pressing her hands against her templates, eyes closed.

Kane sighed, looking down at Jamie. "It's not your fault, Jamie. Ciara is still trying to get over the fact that almost everyone she had trusted, most of the assassins, the servants, her one spy, even the Healer's Servant, and Co-Leader, Graizelle Bouti and Ava Whispan, had disappeared. Jamie gasped at the name Ava Whispan. “The Ava Whispan!?” Jamie asked shocked. She guessed they hadn’t seen the news story so she pulled it up on the dingy laptop that she still had. She pulled up the news broadcast.
“Girl gone psycho in the town square! Almost murdered a girl around her age with the name of Poppy Harrison! We have reasons to believe she was on some kind of drug or medication that caused her to go on a psychotic rampage! She will now be taken to a highly secure prison for the next couple of months!” The broadcaster announced and it showed a close up of Ava being shoved into a police car.

She snatched the laptop out of Jamie's hands. "Poppy Harrison!? She was Abigail's former helper!" Ciara gasped. Kane was not moving, his face mixed with horror and fear and something else.

*Kane led the way to where the Assassins sleep*

"Only the leader and healers have their own rooms. Ciara was working to fix that. She even has a room being built for the next Co-Leader when she chooses them. No one has ever slept in there yet. Ava had slept in here with all the other Assassins, but everyone has their own bed. Ava's bed was that one."

*Kane pointed to an empty bed near the door with red blankets*
