The silver tabby felt sadness pulse through her soul, Belladonna left her...maybe it was a test, she hoped so, she actually liked Bella, she felt a strong sister like bond from the molly, she just hoped that she didn't just get rid of her, she hoped that she didn't do anything to annoy the white molly.
Chickpea looked back at the black tom and sighed "Mind showing me around first? I don't know if I want to join yet or not, it's not as beautiful as my Willow grove, but it has more prey....I'm not too sure yet. But a stroll may change my mind." she stated, her words dripped with uncertainty, she was having second guesses about following a member of group that she knew nothing about, but she would choose this place over the white room, the up walkers that lived there were awful, always pricking her with sharp silver sticks, they always wore white, even the color terrified her, hence her hatred of Winter. The silver feline suppressed a shudder as she remembered her kithood, horror and fear danced in her pastel purple orbs, but she pushed the memories away and focused on the tom infront of her, remembering that it was rude not to listen to others when they talk.

Infamous stared at her, his soft, nearly white orbs flickering as he examined her. As she spoke, he rolled his eyes. "I see. Well, I suppose you want me to show you around then?" he asked, his gruff Scottish voice filled with as much boredom as his eyes. "Well then, I should at least be a gentleman. I am Infamous." he said, bowing his head respectfully. The black tom then rose his head and looked at her. He padded to her side, but didn't offer a smile. "So, where are you from?" he asked, his voice filled with a bored sigh.

He answered rhetorically, with a smile. "Besides, they couldn't compare to you..." He complimented, looking Eagle up and down, this time in a blatantly obvious way. He cared about more than looks, though. She seemed more intelligent than she was letting on, and he liked the mystery of not knowing exactly who she was.

Eagle smiled at the tom mischievously, giving him a glance-about. "Oh, I'm sure there are much more lovely she-cats in the Dusk Syndicate," she said seductively. She raised her front left paw and licked it a bit, flattening the fur that liked to stick up sometimes. She often called it her 'beauty fluff,' using it as her 'sign of imperfection.' The she-cat's reflection upon herself told her she was perfect, however, and that she would never have a problem getting a tom to be interested in her. She thought back for a moment to her crowning achievement of getting a kittypet tom to lay with her despite the fact he was gay. Maybe this Dusk Syndicate tom would be her next big achievement, if she could get away afterwords. Delvin seemed much to close to her own personality so far for her to stick around very long, but of course she'd never leave without giving the tom what he wants. "You are the smooth-talker aren't you, Delvin?" she asked, still putting on her seductive yet flirtatious face and voice. Her tail flicked beautifully, tapping him on the bum.

"Alright, alright- I know that we're strong. If we couldn't beat kittypets, then something's definitely wrong here." Eris grinned, giving Boreas a quick glance as she walked along the grasses, her paws gliding through the forest carefully as she picked them up, not wanting to get any mud in her fur this early in the day. The snow had made the ground much more wet than she would've liked, but it seemed like she'd just have to deal with it right now. Sighing, she simply continued on her way- boasting about herself was great and all, but this talk about strength... it bored her. She'd already known that the Dusk Syndicate was one of the strongest, most ruthless places in the entire forest- but all of this confirmation had started to give her doubts about her own beliefs. If we need to kidnap to keep our members up, are we really as strong as we think we are?

``That much I know, sweetheart,`` Augustus purred, curling his rat-like tail over his back as he now stood tall with his head raised high. Swiftly, he whipped around and trotted a few fox-lengths away from Jinx. Over his shoulder, he called back to her, ``Wait right there, precious. I'll be right back.`` What was his deal with the nicknames, you ask? Nobody knows... not even himself. He brought his nose to the air, and it twitched as he inhaled a jumbled mess of scents.

Wet, dead leaves released a fresh, strong scent that he liked. The dark trees released a dusky-type scent, and the few grass stalks consisted of a smell he found to be boring. Through all the nature-related smells, the mouth-watering scent of a rodent wafted towards his muzzle. Augustus was quick to pinpoint the location of the mouse - just behind the trunk of a nearby tree. He could hear the faint scratching of the mouse searching for food. He dropped into a crouch - one he'd seen the hunters practice in the clearing. However, it wasn't quite right. He favored one side more than the other instead of balancing his weight, and his steps were heavy as he crawled towards the rodent.

The mouse seemed to of picked up on it's stalker, as it froze, and sniffed. It was quick to run off, in the opposite direction of Augustus. However, the black tomcat saw the rodent around the thick tree trunk, as well as hear the light patter of it's feet. As fast as a mouse, Augustus was on his paws and chasing after the mouse. The defenseless rodent didn't get very far, as the cat's long legs and lack of weight made him speedy. By luck, Augustus returned to the place he left Jinx with a scrawny mouse clenched firmly yet carefully between his jaws.

He walked with proud, his head tall and his posture straight. His tail rose in an arch, and his strides were long. His green eyes sparkled with excitement, and his pelt tingled with adrenaline. Augustus wasn't a hunter, and he certainly did not know anything about it - except, of course, that the goal is to catch prey. And he did just that. Gee, I can be a fighter and a hunter! However much he told himself and others that he could be a hunter, he knew he would never leave the role of a fighter to become a hunter.

What compelled Jinx to actually sit and wait was anyone's guess. When Augustus left, Jinx was left to sit alone and listen to her surroundings, grooming her fur here and there as she gaze around and studied everything. Perhaps the idea of getting lost from even this spot was keeping her where she was. Sure, she could've easily left, however the ebony feline assumed that he'd simply come and find her.

Blinking her yellow hues, Jinx eventually crouched down and waited. Her tail swished behind her, breaking the eerie silence of the forest as the snow shifted beneath her tail. As much as I hate to admit, this place makes me uneasy, she commented to herself silently. Although the eerie silence was broke but some clumsy thumping and a small squeal. Must be Augustus, she concluded. To her surprise, she realized that perhaps that feline wasn't as good of a hunter than she thought. She assumed he'd be better as one considering his structure, she wasn't aware that he was guard.

Jinx sat back upright as the tom-cat reappeared in her field of vision. For such a small and scrawny mouse, he sure seemed proud. Perhaps he really wasn't that great of a hunter after all? She didn't dare say a word, merely awaited him to come back up to her and boast about his catch. Well at least that was what she was expecting of him.

They proved to be quite the distraction, considering he was taken off guard when she began speaking. "Smooth talker, huh?" He parroted, "Think I'm all talk?" The tom questioned half-joking, half trying to combat legitimate doubt of him.

Augustus flaunted forward, and from his raised, enclosed muzzle lied a limp mouse. Quite a pathetic one, he must admit, but something that he found pride in. Though - he could often find ways to feel pride even in situations where there was nothing to be proud of. His strides were long and quick due to his lengthy, thin legs. His rat-like tail swung lazily behind him as if he simply did not care. His rounded ears swiveled uncomfortably whenever so much as a soft breeze passed by him, tickling his sensitive ear fur.

He dropped the gaunt mouse before the black-pelted she-cat, a cocky grin taking it's place. ``
With love, your majesty,`` Augustus laughed softly, bowing his head to Jinx. His words hinted that although the appearance of the rodent wasn't exactly impressive, he did try. He had put effort into the hunt. Hunting was not something he specialized in despite his structure. He was trained to fight, and to only fight. Hunting was for those within the rank below him. The ones too weak to succeed in preventing a severe blow from their opponent.

Augustus stepped back - almost as if she were `majesty` and he was told to remain at a distance. He stood tall once more, eagerly watching Jinx to see if she would kindly reward his efforts with a bite, or harshly turn him down. His pelt tingled with apprehension and excitement, and he was convinced he'd explode if he'd have to wait much too long. Though all these emotions rushed throughout his body, he was skilled in refraining from revealing them. He still owned that confident smile, and his green eyes held a glint that just screamed `cocky`. His straightened posture was impressive, and his tail continued to swing lazily.

Jinx rolled her eyes. "Pick a name to give me, or call me Jinx, I won't always respond to all sorts of pet names," she replied, before glancing down at the mouse. "Surprised you caught it with the amount of noise your stick body made," she commented, emotionless eyes darted from the mouse to him and back. If she was taught anything, it was to keep your enemies close, so despite her lack of appetite, the ebony she-cat leaned down and took a bite from the scrawny mouse. She chewed through the stringy meat before swallowing, sitting up straight and pushing the remains towards Augustus.

"You caught it, I was only being somewhat polite," she replied, playing along with his games. She didn't quite understand him or why he was so cocky in the first place. Jinx especially didn't understand his pet names, she'd play along, although she wouldn't call him anything other than his name. She wasn't trying to be that friendly.

Assuming Augustus took the other part of the mouse, Jinx had began to wash her whiskers. Drawing her rough tongue over each side side of her mouth and insuring no scraps were messing with her sense of touch. Her yellow hues were glancing around the forest once more. Now what? she couldn't help but ponder to herself. Everything she had just studied looked unfamiliar all over again.

"I think it's about time you put your prey where your mouth is," she said seductively, smirking all the while. She was ever-so-slightly saddened by the fact she didn't have longer fur, as longer fur tended to be more luxurious. There would never again be a tom she couldn't seduce if she had fur as long as some of the cats she'd seen in her life. At the same time, however, she was glad she didn't have it, as it'd be a pain to groom every day. She didn't know how those cats managed to have such long fur and groom it for hours on end. She didn't know why she suddenly thought of this, but surely it had something to do with Delvin. "Why don't you show me if your actions are as smooth as your words?" she asked, again seductively. Her tail twitched with impatience, though she knew not why.

She gave a nod, not really responding this time. They were strong, so strong, she was proud of it, it made them fierce, it made them feared, respected. And she was glad for that. But, like Eris, Boreas felt...bored, maybe she'd find a cat in the territory, to attack or something lately, but now was not the time, patrol first. The dark tabby followed her friend, giving out a sigh as she walked. Ah, at least its a perfect winter day..... She thought, thinking through silence and walking. Though she didn't actually showed it much anymore, Boreas was a preserved, and quiet cat, and preferred to keep to herself. But, her ambitions covered it up, so most didn't see her carefree, and very chill side. She didn't have time to show it anyways, she was the co-commander, she had to be an example of a fierce, and ruthless cat that is the Dusk Syndicate.
