RueRipple would wake up later that day still decently tired but would ignore it and groom. She had heard within the first few days after they were born keeping a close eye on them to bond with them and feed them. She would wake them and leaned forward, something she had seen the other queens do while feeding. She carefully moved FawnKit over to make room for SilverKit. SilverKit had seemed way smaller compared to her brothers, but that was expected, right? She thought to herself unsure of what might happen but, Finally relaxed when all four kits were sucking milk peacefully. Being a mother hadn't proved to be too difficult yet, RueRipple thought she was navigating it well for it being her first time. She smiled as she looked at the feathers QuillPaw left, WindClan had proved to be peaceful so far. Well until she overheard the cats having a meeting, loud words were roared and she deemed it unsafe for her kits as the sounds only got louder. She quicked them up one by one and moved them back to the back of the nursery.





RueRipple looked down at her gathered kits and let out a purr of satisfaction. She still wondered what the meeting was about, Perhaps she'd ask her mate RyeFur. All she had made out was Twilight Star's words "WindClan and ShadowClan ally themselves together." She had always trusted her leader but allying with another clan seemed wrong, Wasn't DawnStar power-hungry? None of this was smart in the queen's opinion especially not as they were entering leaf-bear! She brushed it off and settled around her newborn kits letting them once again drink her milk, they would need it if they would one day be warriors.
