Pumpkinpaw _________________________ Ooo, this would be fun, Pumpkinpaw was alright with this! As soon as the words left Dreamcloud’s mouth, Pumpkinpaw flew at his mentor, claws out. He leapt up and attempted to hook her on the side and pull her down with him upon decent, but he’d just have to wait and see if the attack was successful. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Well that was fast. Dreamcloud had been prepared, though, and she was suddenly glad for her experience as a warrior. Maybe she wasn't old, but she was older than Pumpkin, and she was going to put that extra time and experience to use! Or at least, she'd try. Dreamcloud slipped out of the way with some effort, taking a deep breath. There was only half a second of hesitation before she unsheathed her own claws and launched herself at Pumpkinpaw's side, hoping to knock him down.// @Willowfern |

Pumpkinpaw _________________________ Pumpkinpaw crashed into the ground, pain rocketing up his spine as his tail bent in an odd direction. Please, please don’t be broken, He thought fearfully, he waved his tail to check, Not broken, thank the stars! Suddenly, claws raked down his exposed side and he squealed, Like a stupid kit! Pumpkinpaw thought ruefully. Anger fueling his already sore limbs, he stood and aimed a blow on Dreamcloud’s hind leg, to unstable and maybe knock her down. Pumpkinpaw thought of the first fight he had, with one of his own clanmates during the night-training event, and he hissed to himself as he remembered the other apprentice’s needle-sharp claws raking over his chin, the scar was still there, it was faded now, but the memory clung fresh to his mind like honey to a leaf. With that small patch of fur, the other apprentice had taken his innocence about the world away from him as well. He had gone into that fight a sweet, innocent kit, and emerged as who he was now, and he could never go back. What if he lost, like he had all those moons ago? No. He was older now, stronger, he could have been a warrior now if it weren’t for the lack of solid mentorship. He would win this fight, even if he had to lose something else. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Goldenclaw let out a long sigh, shaking his golden pelt as he made his way to the training cliffs. Now that he was stuck with an apprentice, he had to act like a mentor. Great. Nonetheless, he would try to do his job, no matter how much he disliked it. "Mintpaw, hurry it up!"
