(lol) "Substitute Core: Are you ready to start?" "Yes! Come on!" "Corrupted Core: are you ready to start?" "What do you think?" "Interpreting vague answer as yes." "No! No! NONONO! Didn't pick up on my sarcasm..." "Stalemate detected. Stalemate Resolution Associate: Please press the Stalemate Resolution Button." "Go press the button! Go press it!" |

(it is time. Gonna have to do a bit of powerplay-- this is technically a cutscene haha) Bombs blasted Jessica away from the button before she could press it. "PART FIVE! BOOBYTRAP THE STALEMATE BUTTON!" She was flung across the room, landing on her hands and knees. Slowly, Jessica turned around to face Wheatley. He glared at her as she laid there on the ground. "What, ARE YOU STILL ALIVE? You are JOKING! You have got be KIDDING me! Well, I'm still in control! AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS PLACE! You had to play bloody cat and mouse, didn't you? While people were trying to work. Yes, well, now we're all going to pay the price. BECAUSE WE'RE ALL GOING TO BLOODY DIE!!" Part of the ceiling crumbled, revealing the moon-- It was large and bright in the sky, casting it's ghostly white light down upon the facility. "Oh, brilliant, yeah. Take one last look at your precious human moon. Because it cannot help you now!" |

*She glanced at GLaDOS and back up at the human moon* "I'm sorry, Wheatley... Hey, Core one! You said you wanted to go to space? Well, TO SPACE WE GO!!!" *She fired a portal at the moon* |

There was a pause. Then, Wheatley yelled, and the air was sucked out of the room. Wheatley's head was pulled into the portal below him, and he let out a yell. A thin flexible metal tube/string held him to the body, and Jessica was pulled out into the portal after him. She had to hold onto him tight to not be blown away by the raging wind that was being pulled from the room. Around her was the deep dark void of space, and she could see Earth in the distance. "AHHHHHHH! SPACE! WE'RE IN SPACE!" Wheatley looked horrified. His eye darted around, and then landed on Jessica. "Let go! We're in space! Let go! Let go! I'm still connected. I can pull myself in. I can still fix this!" He was yelling, nearly screaming, so Jessica could hear him over the roar of air rushing past her ears. "I already fixed it!" GLaDOS yelled from inside. A robotic claw thing grabbed Jessica's arm, nearly pulling her into the room. She still clutched Wheatley's handle, and he started to yell again. "Oh no! Change of plans! Hold onto me! TIGHTER!" Jessica could hear the Space Core's voice. "Space? SPACE!" The core unattached himself from GLaDOS's body, flying out of the room, knocking into Wheatley and causing him to fly out of Jessica's grasp. "Grab me grab me grab me! Grab meeee!" His voice trailed off as he flew into the expanse of space. GLaDOS started to pull Jessica back into the room, her hand still reaching out for Wheatley. Jessica blacked out, and when she awoke, she was lying in a round glass elevator. Two robots stood in front of her-- one with a glowing orange eye, and one with a glowing blue eye. The orange one waved. GLaDOS's voice could be heard. "Oh thank god, you're alright." As Jessica sat up, she saw that GLaDOS was back in her body. She also sounded genuinely relieved. You know, being Caroline taught me a valuable lesson. I thought you were my greatest enemy. When all along you were my best friend. The surge of emotion that shot through me when I saved your life taught me an even more valuable lesson: where Caroline lives in my brain." "Caroline deleted." "Goodbye, Caroline. You know, deleting Caroline just now taught me a valuable lesson. The best solution to a problem is usually the easiest one. And I'll be honest. Killing you? Is hard. You know what my days used to be like? I just tested. Nobody murdered me. Or put me in a potato. Or fed me to birds. I had a pretty good life. And then you showed up. You dangerous lunatic. So you know what? You win. Just go. GLaDOS let out a gentle laugh. "It's been fun. Don't come back." The elevator began to ascend, leading Jessica through the facility. It took a long time-- over thirty minutes. But finally, she reached the surface. The door opened. Bright sunlight dazzled Jessica's eyes as she stepped out into the real world-- She exited into a wheat field, reaching across the land as far as the eye could see. Jessica turned around to see a small beat-up shack. The door opened, and a burnt-up Companion Cube was thrown out. Immediately, the door slammed shut. Jessica was free. ----- Wheatley drifted through space, the Space Core babbling as it floated around him. Wheatley sighed, looking around. "I wish I could take it all back. I honestly do. I honestly do wish I could take it all back. And not just because I'm stranded in space." "I'm in space!" "I know you are, mate. Yup. We're both in space. Anyway, you know, if I was ever to see her again, do you know what I'd say? I'd say 'I'm sorry.' Sincerely. I am sorry. I was bossy and monstrous, and I am genuinely sorry. That's it. The end." |

~~Jessica~~ Jessica gasped when she was pulled into the space, holding onto Wheatley. She lost her portal gun in the process as well. She held onto Wheatley tightly, struggling to hold on. She felt herself slowly being dragged in. She gasped when Wheatley was thrown out of her hand when the space core unattached itself from the ai. "Wheatley!" She screamed, reaching out. She soon blacked out. She opened her eyes. Arg... Jessica stood up, looking around and saw GLaDOS. She listened to her. Wheatley is gone... She watched GLaDOS as she went up. "Goodbye, GLaDOS! I'll miss you!" She called down, watching the walls as she went up. When she reached the top, the sunlight dazzled her eyes. She stepped into a wheat field. "Woah..." She looked back and saw the shack. She watched a burnt Companion Cube thrown out and the door was closed. She started rolling it away. "I'll miss you, Wheatley. Hope you like space, Space Core. GLaDOS, I hope you take care of the testing." Jessica said out loud, rolling the cube through the fields. |

(and that's the end! How'd you like it? The ending is a little more dramatic in-game, but I did the best I could. We can continue if you'd like, having Jessica find society, then continue from there, but idk what you wanna do) |
