He had confidence in his own abilities, and in her failure with the moss, and her outburst at him when he'd made a comment about her poor show. From his short observation of the cat, Cypresspaw hoped he could use these flaws against her.

Due to his close proximity after his failed attacks, he took the first blow to the chest, slightly winding him, and leaving him open to her following attack. Still, he twisted out from beneath her before she could complete her pin, rolling to the side and leaping at her flank in one flowing movement, again hoping to unbalance her, using the full force of his weight and propelling himself forward this time.

The she cat whipped around as he evaded her pin, and was hit in the shoulder. She lost her balance, falling onto her back, and she faked a submissive give up. Though her muscles her tensed, ready to take advantage of he were to believe her move.

After ramming her side, Cypresspaw had fallen into a crouch to leap on top of her, pinning her as they'd both been struggling to successfully do to one another. However he fell short, squinting suspiciously as she feigned submission. "You yield?" This he said aloud, questioning her motive after he'd just managed to land one successful blow.

"No." Amusement licked into her voice as she leaped towards him, aiming to land on the toms shoulders. A grin widened on the she cats face, and her thoughts were focused on the victory that she could almost see.

The tom should've seen it coming from lengths away, however she still managed to take him by surprise yet again, a startled "mraow–" escaping him as she successfully landed on top of him. Cypress was put slightly off balance, which gave him the split second idea to roll to the side she'd thrown them both towards, hoping it would throw her off, or she'd at least let go to avoid being crushed on her back by his weight.

Saltpaw was thrown onto her back, and Cypress landed on her belly. But she wasn't done, she wrapped her paws around his belly and continued the momentum so that she was on top of him.

Cypresspaw struggled to free his paws after she'd turned the tables on him once again, scratching at her with his hind legs, although he had to internally remind himself it was for training and he didn't actually want to seriously hurt her.

She squeezed him harder, and added her hind legs, wrapping basically her entire body around the younger tom. She winced as he battered at her paws and let go with her front paws, and pushed herself off of his back, leaping away from the younger tom. She grinned, the rush of battle making her feel good, her muscles were warm and working, which was a glad change from when she doubted her abilities (and didn't work because she 'knew' she was gonna fail) She padded around Cypress before leaping towards him again.

Mind if I join? I know it's kind of rude but I'm bored and also need to learn some battle moves.
