[ @Lynxpaw; @S t a r; ] Ebonyfang rolled his eyes, but didn't complain as long as she didn't try to jump off of stuff he wasn't all that upset. Plus it looked like it was just a bloody nose. It didn't look broken, so that was a good thing. The medicine cat went into his den to grab a cobweb. He padded back over to them. Ebonyfang gently ripped it into two and rolled them into a couple small balls. "This might be uncomfortable, but it'll stop the bleeding.", he meowed. He gently placed the two cobweb paws in her nostrils. |

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Pinepaw sat in the clearing, vigorously cleaning her pelt. There were multiple dirt speckles on her black fur from this morning when she'd tripped on her way out of the apprentice's den. For the most part, she was unaware of her surroundings at the moment. // @Beau - ack, sorry for the late reply is slipped my mind |

[ @Bread no worries c: ]
A partially stifled grin bloomed on Venomtooth’s face as the apprentice started. He hadn’t meant to surprise her and he definitely didn’t want her to think he was making fun of her, but he couldn’t help the bit of humor he found in the shocked reaction. The grin grew, unencumbered social niceties, as Pinepaw’s did and Venomtooth twitched his whiskers amiably at his ability to offer something to the younger cat “Great, let’s head out.” It was nice finding such an eager partner, but hunting was no joke and Venomtooth’s features soon returned to their usual stoic expression. The clan needed food and in this era of uncertainty and instability, Ven needed to take control of this one area and give some structure to a clan he saw as flailing. He intended to hunt as much as possible and he hoped Pinepaw would keep up- this had become something of an obsession for him as he searched both for purpose and stability. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Pinepaw nodded. The molly took a second to quickly stretch out her limbs before standing up on all fours. On her fur, a few specks of dirt still remained, but it was decided that she'd clean the rest off later. Besides, it was likely she'd get more dirt on her anyway- not speaking from experience. // @Beau |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
@gs29513 Aspenkit The ginger calico turned around. "I understand that" He told Shrewpaw aggravated, "But I'm old enough to be an apprentice, but instead I'm here being useless to the clan, with these losers!" Aspenkit said the last word with so much distaste, he practically spat it out. His face was thoroughly stoic as he finished speaking. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
[ @Redtalon ] | [ @Arie ] The guardians of time possessed the most powerful magics in all of the known realms. They could force a feline to live an entire lifetime within only a moment, and simultaneously, they could make one second feel as if it was meant to last forever. Time moved too slowly when one wished it to go by fast, and it moved too swiftly when one asked it to slow down. The latter proved to be Talonstone's current predicament. With the recent flurry of training - and not just training his own apprentice - he found little time to spend for himself, let alone for others, so when Doetuft suggested a simple hunt to recalibrate his mind, he discovered no reason to refuse. Although the sun was up, gifting warm rays to the earth, the steep precipice of the gorge cast shadows at its base. Talonstone stepped through them thoughtlessly, having already lived in such a camp in his past. The large warrior sidled up to Doetuft, shifting his weight as her head rested upon his shoulder, and he scoffed playfully her prodding, "How am I to walk if you're determined to weigh me down?" The words left his maw more blunt and acerbic than he intended, but he trusted that Doetuft knew what he meant. Regardless, the frosty warrior took a bold step forwards, anticipation flowing through him. Despite his established distaste for frogs, they would be hunting at the riverdwellers' border in an attempt to slay most of the remaining prey before the marsh froze over for the upcoming leafbare. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
If you understand it, why aren't you following it? he snapped back, his hair rising. He was really quite aggravated by now by this kit's seeming lack of reason and the fact that he was still having this conversation anyway. He had thought it would have been a quick "how are you" "i'm fine thanks" sort of thing, but no. Instead he had a selfish little kit who didn't care if one or both of them got in trouble. And as much as he didn't like to reward his aggravating behavior, Shrewpaw knew there was one good way to get the kid off his case. With a sigh, he mewed How about we learn some battle moves then? You can get a head start without leaving camp you know. He wasn't sure what he would teach, probably the basics. @Erebus
