"Okay everyone! Patrol time!" Flickerflame called out to the clan. Waiting for everyone to show up, she looked over at the cats in the clearing. Since they didn't have borders to defend, there would be no border patrols that day. Just hunting, and with the recent rise in foxes, a small patrol left behind to guard camp.
Fierceclaw padded over. Her steps were heavy with sleep but she shook her fur so she could be ready for patrols.

Rattlepaw stepped forwards towards his new mentor,Nettlesky. He have her a respectful nod to show he’d heard and acknowledged her when Flickerflame called for patrols. “I too volunteer,” He said a moment after Nettlesky. His paws were itching to be out of here and do something. Anything. He couldn’t:t bare to sit around and do....nothing! It was horrible. Absolutely horrible...

Ashkit woke up, and walked out of the nursery, she padded over to Rattlepaw. "Hi Rattlepaw! How are you?" she asked the tom

Rattlepaw glanced down at the young kit his eyes betraying no emotion. After a moment he looked back at Flickerflame but did meow, “Fine,”. For he was a Tom of few words preferring to only speak when he deemed it necessary. For why should one waste their energy, time, and breath on talking when they could train, hunt, gather, or just help around instead? Why would any prefer talking to...working?

Rattlepaw glanced down at the 6 moon old kit slight.y confused as to why they were still here. He had answered her question. What more did she want from him?

“Go on a patrol,” Rattlepaw said slowly. For a moment he wondered if she had a mental disability or had short term memory since he had literally just volunteered. Or perhaps she had just not paid attention. Wanting to just get out of camp and onto a patrol already Rattlepaw stood there awkwardly for he didn’t)t want to shove the young cat off.

Rattlepaw tilted his head. Did this cat not know anything? Kittens weren’t allowed outside of camp. Even he knew and he had been brown outside of the clan! “No,” He responded after a moment his tone flat.
