Cody's paw shifted over the scar across his side.... the one on his cheek... and the one over his muzzle. His eyes clouded with memories. Thyme had brought up a touchy subject.

* She tried to reach out and stop him before he got to far, but she didn't get to him in time. She sat down and looked at her paws. What had she just done? She brought up a touchy subject that he didn't like. Talon watched the whole thing. She knew momma was going to be sad and she knew bringing Cody back was gonna solve that. Talon scrambled after the scent that was Cody. Despite being only half the size she kept up well. *

Cody weaved nimbly between trees and roots. He climbed a relatively tall tree, and only stopped when he couldn't handle going any higher. The small hazel tom was about 57 ft in the air, crouching on a thin branch. Tears ran down his cheeks as he watched the tiny forest floor, almost blurry from this extreme height.
