Mosskit notices Darkkit's distress and frowns. He sits down next to his friend. "What's wrong, Darkkit," he asks, not knowing why his friend is upset. He thinks on it for a moment before remembering he has forgotten to check in on him like he promised. Darn it, he was so focused on hanging out with Milkykit that he neglected his closest friend! Mosskit feels immediate guilt and leans over to ask Darkkit, "Are you ok?" @Cougar

Mosskit frowns deeper. He can tell his best friend is lying, and he doesn't want to pry, but... it is kind of his job, right? He vowed to protect Darkkit, and he's going to make good on that vow, no matter what. "I've just been hanging out with Milkykit, but are you sure you're ok? You seem upset." he thinks for a little before saying, "Hey, I'm sorry for not being around for you. It was really..." he thinks on the word. "... scummy, of me." He inches a little closer to the other kit. @Cougar

Mosskit frowns even deeper, hurt by his words. "Oh, ok... well, I'll be over here if you need me, I guess." He stands up and turns away, looking back as he walks back to where he was watching an interesting bug crawl across the nursery floor. @Cougar
