Death stood there. "Don't kill him! Or I'll I'll kill you. " He raised a paw and slammed it in the dust. He then back away. Gorse looked at Needle and stuck her teeth at his shoulder biting it. She got off. "You OK?" |

Augustus flashed Jinx a grin of victory, his green eyes shimmering with similar emotion. ``Let's get started, then, hm?`` He lashed his skinny tail nonchalantly though he swiveled his head around automatically in an alert manner. It was what he learned to do since kithood - be aware. The Dusk Syndicate was a dangerous place, and its members could be terribly effected if they were not always prepared for anything. He's had his fair share of surprises. ``Quit your snorting, and stop glaring - it's rude,`` Augustus commented with a disappointed look. He shook his head to place emphasis on his disappointment, but then he abruptly replaced his negative facial features with gleeful ones. ``And smile more, okay? And your tone - ugh. You always sound irritated, y'know, but we can fix that! Just so you know, your name sorta offers a... creepy air... because... because jinxes are bad luck... But that's okay, because we're in the Dusk Syndicate, and based off stereotypes, we're creepy.`` He often put lots of thought towards the Dusk Syndicate stereotypes, the ones that claimed they were heartless. Augustus, and the other members of the Syndicate were usually judged by their residence, and immediately turned away. This brought much resentment to the tall, rat-tailed tomcat, resentment he always showed, but in ways totally unusual to most. He dreamed of being accepted, but he knew it wouldn't happen due to his loyalties. And not many Dusk Syndicate cats were accepting. In general, Augustus was all on his own, and he was an incredibly social cat, so he struggled to adjust to the antisocial life. Anyway... Dusk Syndicate stereotypes claimed its members were heartless, and Augustus was determined to prove otherwise. However, during his time with the Syndicate, he slowly and unknowingly became slightly insane, but he continued to dream of proving the stereotypes to be incorrect. His insanity and dreams seemed to of been blended together, and his insanity was cheerfulness. It was rare for others to assign him the mental condition of `insane` as he managed to hide it beneath naive, kit-like happiness. Augustus didn't think he was crazy - he had convinced himself he was simply a happy cat, and maybe that was the case? In all, insanity was, well, insane, and complicated, and could not be understood quickly. His brother had managed to help maintain a balance of sanity and insanity in Augustus, but then his only sibling went missing... and everything went downhill. |

Like a lightning bolt, he launched at Gorse, his jaw open wide with teeth gleaming like knives. He barreled into the snowy she-cat and gripped his claws deep into her sides as he bit right beneath her neck. The crazed tom was screaming with laughter and was radiating killing intent. |

Death smiled. "Shh. . " he putf his paw on his cheek. "Don't blame, your self. . " she said. His eyes started to close. He then passed out from blood loss. Gorse ran over and placed the cobwebs on. "We need to bring him back to camp! " she lifted Death on her back and started to run to camp. |
