Smallthorn stared at the warrior with wide eyes. "And you're just going to skip past the part where you hurt me?" he challenged. He could feel the tension between the two of them, and he ignored everything happening in the clearing around them. He knew he shouldn't be getting so worked up at his old age, it really wasn't good for him. And over something like this, especially. He wasn't an apprentice anymore, for Starclan's sake.

Smallthorn almost rolled his eyes, but caught himself before he did. "Well you shouldn't have challenged me like that Ashfur, you were an apprentice. Pretty bold of you I'd say." he replied. He almost chuckled at the situation. "Although I admire the boldness I guess, I never would have done that." he said as he attempted to reason with the cat. He really just wanted to stop hating him, as hard as it may be.

Smallthorn raised his eyebrows at Ashfur's gesture. "Hm. Well I guess I don't mind," he decided. He scooted over a bit as he watched Ashfur. He was honestly quite surprised that Ashfur wanted to sit down next to him. Maybe, hopefully, he had changed since he had been an apprentice.

Smallthorn cracked a small smile at Ashfur's words. He stared straight ahead of him. "Well.." he thought. Was he really going to forgive him this fast? It was nice of him to finally come around.. "Your apology is accepted, Ashfur," he decided. "It's a good thing that you cared so much about the warrior code, as young as you were. I was wrong to be breaking that," he said. He was glad that the two were finally working things out. Maybe one day he could consider them friends? He wouldn't mind a younger friend too, because he didn't care to listen to other elder's stories. Maybe Ashfur approaching him today wasn't so bad.
