Cody yowled, and ran to the branch's edge. "TALON!" He screeched. Tears streamed down his cheeks. He did this. It was his fault. He could never face Thyme now...

Cody sobbed loudly, wailing with grief. Why had he been so mean! He'd never even taken the time to get to know her. He heard Thyme's voice and slowly jumped down the branches. He finally landed on the forest floor, and cried out. His cheeks were soaked, and he curled up on the soft ground wailing and sobbing. It was a dream... it had to be.... please...

* She saw Cody on the ground curled up. She rushed over and scooped him up and made her way to the den. She laid him down in the crook of her body and she closed her eyes. She knew what had happened. She cried with him and then laid her head down. She nuzzled him to her belly. *
" It's okay my kit. Your back with momma... momma... "
* The word stuck like a thorn in her throat. *

Cody didn't say a word. He buried his head in Thyme's fur like he did when he was younger... it was so much simpler then... He sobbed and cried some more. Murderer... you did this... your fault... murderer... The words repeated in his head.
