Re: RiverClan Training Island
She did goodish! Goodish was.....GOOD! After her mentor had somewhat regained her attention, Rushpaw watched her attentively as she smashed the bush. And then it was.......her turn? SHE got to smash the bush? Bush smashing must be fun if her mentor was having HER do it! So she had to......swat at it and then.............slide under it and hit it REALLY HARD on the bottom? She was PRETTY sure that was what her mentor did. Swat, slide, HIT!
Moments later, she had tried it, and the bush had GOT her! She had tried to slide under, but the bush was STICKY! And it grabbed her tail, and she had hit it, and now she was STUCK! HELP! It's sitting on MEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Rushpaw wailed, flailing around pretty aimlessly. Stupid bush! She was supposed to WIN! Not get stuck! HELP! @Leopardblaze |

@Goldenmac
@Evie @ChillCat Lotusheart swiped forward as Brightpaw slammed into her, her massive paw aimed at slamming the apprentice away. Badgerpaw successfully managed to push Lotusheart to the side a little, but the massive white cat quickly regained her balance. Wolfpaw's punch hit her leg and she kicked back, not too strongly, as she was afraid of harming him. |

Lotusheart felt Brightpaw land on her back. She was about to shake her off but Badgerpaw batted at her legs. The massive she-cat didnt budge but tried to push Badgerpaw away with a gentle kick. As Wolfpaw rushed at her, her mind quickly devised a strategy. She crouched, lowering Brightpaw with her, so that Wolfpaw would crash into Brightpaw as he tackled her. |

Goosefury didn't leave them. That was good. And when he finally made it over she frowned somewhat, as the droplets sprayed all over her and proceeded to soak her in return. Shaking out her fur in... a mild act of... revenge? no. Eelpaw didn't do revenge. It was just from observing, Goosefury had shaken out his fur and that surely meant she was supposed to do the same thing did it not? Yes. Eelpaw liked to believe that. It was logical and it made sense, to her at least. And then she stood up properly too, listening to his question with a face full of indifference outside of the no blinking that was starting to make her eyes hurt. But... but if she blinked he would disappear would he not? That was what Eelpaw believed and they didn't want Goosefury to disappear, another one could not disappear. NOt again, not again, again, again, again. Not. AGAIN. Just the thought made the young apprentice shake but she shook her head and then nodded in regards to his question. "Defense?" it was filled with hesitancy but she didn't know. How well would she do? Would she fail? Eelpaw didn't like failing. |
Re: RiverClan Training Island
(Decided to cut this short a bit. Generally a good training session)
@Evie @ChillCat @Goldenmac Lotusheart pulled away from the three. "You all did a good job. It was impressive. Badgerpaw, If you need any other training, just ask." she mewed. The massive white cat looked at Brightpaw. "Brightpaw, you have passed your final combat assessment. Take a breath and we'll go hunting. I noticed you knew the moves. You could execute them on your own. But you're really talented when it comes to group combat. Great job." she said, smiling encouragingly. |
Re: RiverClan Training Island
Wow! Lotusheart was praising her! "I do know the moves!its because you're a great teacher though." @Shadeleaf

Re: RiverClan Training Island
Ooh! She got to CHOOSE how she beat people up! That was cool! And she was not mauled! That was also good! Now, did she want to beat people up in the water or......practice not getting beaten up. Hmmmmm. Maybe she should learn how to not get beaten up, since the BUSH got her! She couldn't fight and get beat by a bush, and expect to beat a warrior! Maybe she should work on not getting squashed. I would like to learn how not to get squished please! Rushpaw chirped, her tail flicking to and fro excitedly. Fun fun fun fun fun. Until you got sat on. @Leopardblaze

Re: RiverClan Training Island
[Yes, yes. Then his official training will be done] Cricketchirp was honestly started more than scared, amd as he opened his mouth to say 'yes, sir', Sootflare had already dropped him back in, getting yet another lung full of water. Ohhhhh, great. He had no idea how this worked, but he needed to try or Sootflare would have to save him again. As much of an ass as he's seen Sootflare be to some other cats (rightfully so, he would say about some of them), he doubted the deputy had it in him to just let a clanmate drown in the name of training. His legs kicked out, but directed downward so he could finally bob to the surface, sputtering and spitting the water out, mouth and nose just barely staying above water. He groan as he glanced back to the training island. It seemed so far away and his legs felt like led. Whatever. He began paddling slowly, annoyed he couldn't quite get his head up without splashing more water into his face and very slowly, he swam over. It way too long, but he finally managed. Once he could touch the ground, he dipped under and shot out, not bothering to swim the last tail length until he could run without dunking under. He looked back to Sootflare, shivering slightly and all around looking pitifully like a drowned rat, showing that most of his size was his wiry fur and he was pretty thin everywhere. "Are we done trying to drown me?" @wnder |
Re: RiverClan Training Island
With Tinypaw in place, Lionstar bounded forward and swung a sheathed paw toward his shoulder, aiming to give him a hefty smack. If it landed, and if Tinypaw didn't have a good stance, he'd likely topple over. Or stumble, at least.

-Bristlepaw- With a roll of his eyes, Fennelheart was already on top of him. He hadn’t been taking it too seriously before but now, this elder was going to get it. Pinning his ears back, he pushed up with all his force on the warrior. Which did practically nothing as he was straight out of the nursery. And even with his larger size, her skill beat him already. He just gave up, an annoyed frown pulling at his features as he laid on his back. “Get off.” Bristlepaw grumbled blandly, ready to call it a day and sleep. |

Re: RiverClan Training Island
[ @BILL.; ] Tinypaw felt his paw hit his shoulder and he barreled over. The young tom heard the negative voices in his head laugh at him, but the positive ones were encouraging him. Tinypaw realized his mistake and tried to fix it. He moved his paws a little bit farther together and kept his weight on the ground. Maybe this was better. |

-Bristlepaw- Already annoyed at losing, Bristlepaw readied himself. He sure wasn’t going to let himself be embarrassed like his mother did so. Many. Times. Dropping low and dodging the simple attack, he pushed on his hind legs, propelling him forward hopefully into his older mentor’s chest. |

Fennelheart wasn’t expecting him to attack and was shoved back a little,” I get attacking can be fun, but sometimes avoiding blows is more useful. Tell you what, we can just to a practice spar, you can try whatever cool moves you think will be good against me.“ she meowed hoping Bristlepaw would be interested in that instead. |
Re: RiverClan Training Island
Willowpaw burst out of the river happily shaking herself out as she bounced onto the island. Hmmm another group had come while she was grabbing Dayheart but there were lots of sandbars so it was easy to find a large unoccupied one to claim and sit down and wait. It'd be a hard lesson for Willowpaw she was a small cat and it was pretty clear she was done growing by now so she would have to fight hard and smart to ever gain a victory in battle (being more built for hunting). This was why she needed lessons really, if she was ever caught and pinned (though that would be hard with her speed and wigglyness) she'd have no chance of escaping unless her foe made a mistake so learning how to not die while mobility was limited could just save her life.

"Welcome to the Training Island." Jaywing told Spottedpaw. ''We'll go over the basic moves," She nodded. |
