Poppyshine stomped around the clearing. She was in a bad mood. Not only was she a single mother, but the tom she liked didn't even know if he wanted her! She felt tears in her eyes. The other tom she liked probably didn't like her either..

The cat stretches as they yawn, turning their head towards Poppyshine before the cat calls out a greeting to the she-cat. They make their way to her, before Flamecall sits down across from her.

What was this? The pretty mottled she-cat pricked her ears. Was that Flamecall, her second crush, calling out to her? She shifted nervously as they sat down in front of her, feeling concious of her strange fur and her fat belly.
"Hello." Poppyshine meows softly.
(she's expecting.)

The handsome cat looks at her, and they see her bulging belly before they realize that she is expecting. "Congratulations" They mew, their voice slightly filled with jealousy that they do not even bother attempt to hide.

Poppyshine grows confused at the jealousy in their voice. Was it possible that they felt the same way about her? Well, there was only one way to find out. She moved slightly closer to them. "I don't think it'll work out between me and the dad."

Slight confusion ripples through them before they dip their head, not-so-nice thoughts going through their mind. "Then they do not deserve you." They mew without further thought.

Pausing for a moment, you have already found one, they think to themself before they shift their stance and looks at her before mewing softly. "No one is good enough for you, my Queen." They say, before cringing at their words.

Poppyshine's gray, colorless eyes widen. What did they say? she says to herself. She goes back through their conversation in their mind and freezes. "Flamecall.."

They look at her again. Flamecall looks at her before their heart begins to pound in their chest. "Yeah...?"
