Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Silverstripe had given her an easy challenge, to see if they were at least capable of thinking and breathing at the same time. A short trail. A lot of scents and a non too hidden position. "easy right. Observe what I did wrong. I left a path for you to follow through the grass and the foliage. When I took into the bushes I did nothing to hide my scent, and most glaringly any kit can see me where I am. Now I trust you know some plants at your age. If you want to hide your scent, lavender, sage bush, mint. Anything that overpowers the smell. Now you hide and I will find you kit. Do your best." (insert monty pythons 'how not to be seen') |

Unaware to all the other cats, Cinderkit was curled comfortably in a near-by fern, watching all the apprentices' moves, eager to try them out herself. being nearly six moons old, she felt confident that she could hunt and fight like an apprentice that had trained for five moons.

Through a lavender bush, perhaps she could listen. With a soft nod, Silver kept moving before finally coming up on the apprentice. Putting her paw on the tail |

She looked at her mentor with her usual blank expression. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
"You did well my apprentice, still much to learn and room to grow, but lesson number two is that you should never stop learning. Each mistake is an opportunity, each scar a reminder and something to learn from. Practice becomes rote, becomes life or death when we fight. So we will continue to hide and learn and hunt and train." Padding around watching the younger cat. "We will make a warrior out of you" |

"Next I want to see how you fight. How you hunt. WHen I know where you stand then I can train you. One moment." Moving quickly away and then coming back with a pine cone which she places in the grass. "Stalk and kill the pinecone haha, then we will do real prey" |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Vixenpaw was in the training hollow, watching the older apprentices practice their battle moves. She was a new apprentice, and Orchidmoon hadn't gotten around to teaching her anything (other than giving her a tour of the territory) before she was summoned on Dawnstar's patrol to visit the Hidden Haven. Vixenpaw understood that she was much too young and had no training to be allowed to go with her mentor, but it was still frustrating because now she had no one to teach her. The young molly let out a soft huff of frustration as she attempted to copy a battle move she saw one of the warriors demonstrating for their apprentice. It wasn't working out too well, and she couldn't tell what she was doing wrong with no one to instruct her. All the other mentors were busy with their apprentices, and it would be rude to butt into their training just to get tips for herself. Vixenpaw was just about to give up and head back to camp when she saw the newly appointed deputy, Shadestorm, padding into the hollow, most likely to make sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to be. The apprentice also noticed that he didn't appear to have either of his own apprentices with him, and decided that this was as good an opportunity as ever. If he was busy, he would easily brush her off, but in the chance that he wasn't then maybe he could offer her some tips! Plus, getting on the deputy's good side by showing him she was dedicated to become a warrior of ShadowClan was never a bad thing. "Excuse me, Shadestorm," Vixenpaw said as she padded over, giving a respectful dip of the head to him. "I noticed that you don't have your apprentices with you, and currently my mentor is on Dawnstar's patrol to the Hidden Haven, so if it's not too much trouble for you, would you mind correcting my technique in a few battle moves?" @Singing Jay |
