"Im just Bumblekit," he responded, whiskers twitching a little. "Who are you?" As the feather floated back in his direction, he waited a moment, watching it drift, before startling it back in Shadowkit's direction with a little puff of air.

Bumblekit nearly shook with pure excitement. "Birds are so cool! I want to play with them so bad. The big kitties in the nursery tell me I'll be carried off, but I think I could be their friend..I just want to play.."

Bumblekit nodded without hesitation. The bird was easily double his current size, and he was in awe. "You caught that?? It flies! Can you fly?" He couldn't imagine any other scenario where Mothshade snatched a whole seagull unless he too could fly, but he'd also never seen or heard of a cat flying, so maybe it was a secret he'd be able to learn?? Hopefully the older cat would let him in on it.

Bumblekit had never felt more joy in his short life. "Wow!" He was so excited, he copied the move and tackled Mothshade playfully, going to nip for his ear. "I hope I can catch the birds like you!"
