It seems that Broken Madness has gone inactive for awhile :c
Would you like to skip to when Amber and Thunder have decided to live in the gorge, and they stumble upon the future Leader and Deputy?

Amber flounced out from the entrance to the gorge, her orange pelt brushing past the cool stone around her sides.
“Thunder!” She called, poking her head back inside to call out the golden tomcat. “Let’s go see our new home!” She prodded excitedly.
It had been two sunrises since Seesh had died, and things were moving pretty swiftly.
In fact, she adored the ravine. It was full of surprises, like a tiny green frog tangled in the ivy by the cave entrances.
Amber purred as she pulled her head back out from the entrance, and looked around.
Her and Thunder had yet to explore the territory, as they had been trying to clear the old foliage and leaves from the ‘dens’ as they called them. It was like an adventure, and while Amber sometimes longed for a hand to stroke her spine and tickle her ears, she was determined to try and duplicate the old cats that had lived here long ago. It was strange, because instead of a place where many animals would come into, only the occasional mouse or amphibian would be found.
She also felt strange here, like the paw prints of ancestors long gone echoed with meaning.
“Thunder!” She called again, peering back in with a suspicious look. “Are you ready yet?”
