Shrike pads over and mounts the stump again. "Attention," he calls out, "We can all stop now! The dens and walls are built enough for us to relax for now, and tomorrow we will continue. Echo, Angel, Godwit, Canary, Bald Eagle, and River will sleep in the den closest to mine. Kiwi and the pups will sleep in the one closest to the Healer's Hollow, and Sparks, your den is in the middle of the two. If you would like to speak with me before the night is over, please gather by the stump and I will see to each of you one by one." Shrike sits down, sighing and slumping a bit. Running a Pack is such hard work.
