Re: January Gathering
Vixenpaw's pelt bristled as the scent of outsider drifted to her her nose and she let out a low hiss as she got up and stalked away from her spot beside Daintypaw without a word. Her eyes quickly zoned in on the cat who did not belong and she let out a quiet yet threatening snarl. "Get out of here, you're not allowed. Don't make me force you." Seriously, a second outsider in the same night? Was someone inviting these idiots or something?? @Fait-Warrior |

Re: January Gathering
"Now is not the place, outsider. I'd be surprised if anyone let you join after displaying such idiocy. Now leave before I make you," Vixenpaw snarled softly and took another step forward, barely resisting the urge to unsheathe her claws. Any other situation she would have already gone for the throat, but it was a Gathering and she wasn't about to behave Dawnstar by causing an unnecessary scene in front of the other three Clans. @Fait-Warrior |

Re: January Gathering
"Last warning, out!" was the only reply Vixenpaw hissed, her claws finally unsheathing as the outsider refused to leave. She wasn't going to ask again politely, there had been many chances and soon enough others would be swarming around them and forcing her out as well. Although she wouldn't complain too much if the outsider resisted, she could at least show off her prowess in front of everyone. @Fait-Warrior |

Vixenpaw scowled as another outsider strolled in and curled her lip in disgust. Oh well, just another cat for her to shred if it came down to it. "You and your sister are tresspassing. If you do not leave right now I will force you too. And you will not like it," she hissed, the fur standing straight up along her spine in anger. @Fait-Warrior |

-->Wildspark<--
Hearing the commotion about the rogues he just ignored it. He was freezing and like always they were waiting on Dogbark. Wildspark stood up, moving towards the front. He was tired of keeping quiet. He was good for nothing. "Hey Dogbark we're all freezing out here and some of us won't want to catch a cold. Plus I bet we all got better things to do, so get on with the announcement!", he called up in anger. He looked around seeing there was more cats than him that were irritated with the deputy. It just took him to let it all out. The Thunderclan warrior was just wanting to get back, so he could get up early to hunt |
Re: January Gathering
**Elmshadow of Shadowclan** The bulky tom sat still, watching the gathering. The leaders appeared to be growing impatient as Dogbark left the gathered cats waiting on answers as to why he was sitting atop the Seastones while Aspenstar was missing. That was just like Thunderclan though, leaving everybody waiting on their schedule. Vixenpaw's voice caught Elmshadow's attention and his ear flicked. He looked back as Dawnstar addressed somebody who didn't belong. From where he sat he couldn't get an eye on Vixenpaw or whoever she was facing off against. The situation seemed well-handled but he kept his attention on Dawnstar in case any further intervention should be needed. If the cats knew what was good for them, they'd leave now. Letting Dawnstar handle their exit would be counterproductive to their attachment to life. **Sunsetpaw of Shadowclan** The golden apprentice shuffled her paws as she tried to keep warmth circulating through her limbs. The night seemed to only be growing darker and colder, and the cats more impatient. She fluffed her fur against the chill but some commotion around a couple of outsiders quickly made her forget how cold she was growing. She tried to peer over or through the gathered cats to see what was going on but, just as quickly, she shrank back as Dawnstar promised to intervene. |
Re: January Gathering
Vixenpaw blinked in slight surprise as Dawnstar practically materialized beside her and began to threaten the outsiders. She gave a dip of her head and took a step back to let her leader take charge and deal with them, but didn't sheath her claws in case it came to blows. She knew Dawnstar would be able to easily crush them if they attacked, but that didn't mean she was just going to sit back like a coward and do nothing. During the whole encounter she hadn't acknowledged Brambletree as the apprentice was too focused on the trespassers, and he was guppy. They weren't worth her attention at all. @Fait-Warrior @Jaxson |

Re: January Gathering
Hazelstorm She grinned mischievously, sneaking a sidelong glance at Shimmerbird. "Ooh, okay," Hazelstorm said. "So, got any crushes?" Her tone was playful,she was messing with Shimmerbird on purpose. The tabby flicked her gaze up to Dogbark as some ThunderClan cat yelled his head off at him. She was cold to the bone, her fur chilled. "Ol' Dogbark's going to take forever to announce his stuff," she complained, a touchannoyed. What wouldn't Hazelstor give to be sleeping in a warm nest right now, safely back in camp. Another outsider - two outsiders - had entered the Seastones. Seriously, those cats had no brains, and was some cat inviting them? It was a little uncommon for three outsiders to show up at one Gathering. Brambletree and a ShadowClan apprentice were dealing withthem, and then Dawnstar spoke. Hazelstorm's green eyes shited up to Kestrelstar, noticing him grip the rock below him, his muscles tense. Hmm. @NinjaBloss |
Re: January Gathering
Needlepaw (ShC)
She was wandering around, pushing her way to the front. She noticed the rouges. "Get out of here Flea-Brains!" She hissed @Fait-Warrior She continued until she was close to the leaders. "Finnaly! I can hear!" She muttered (OPEN) |
Re: January Gathering
~Streampaw of WindClan~
Streampaw was awaiting for ThunderClan to speak. She had heard from some other cats that the Clan wasn't doing well, so that is possibly why they weren't speaking up yet. Shame for their Clan? The slender apprentice then felt a cat push her, and Streampaw snapped at the apprentice who had shoved her. "Some of us are also trying to hear the leaders," Streampaw hissed, narrowing her yellow eyes at them. @Beancat |
Re: January Gathering
Rookscreech wasn't happy to witness whatever the hay was happening over there. Something, something, rogue, Dawnstar threatening murder, whatever it was it didn't interest her and only reminded her of ShadowClan's callous nature.
She decided the gathering was boring as usual and needed something to do. So her eyes once again scanned the crowd lazily until the fell upon a familiar pelt. Deadmoon. Her only friend left. She took a few steps forward, instinctively and then stopped. She'd promised herself. Promised to never make the same mistake twice. To never trust anyone, to never get attached. Only idiots did the same thing over and over and expected different results. Yet she'd trusted others time and time again. No, no more...But...That didn't mean she couldn't talk to the other cat, right? She just needed to remember not to get attached, yeah. Rookscreech, now done lying to herself, approached her old friend. She considered spooking her or something but decided against it and just sat next to her unexpectedly. "Oh, hello. Nice to be the one to spot you first for once. Less noisy." she teased casually. @gs29513 |
Re: January Gathering
~Lostfire~ The large she-cat towered above the cats in front of her as her she remained at the back of the crowded cats, her tail lashing back and forth as her ears remain perked. The she-cat seemed be trying to prevent herself from snapping at someone, someone that wasn't there. The voices in her head were growing louder but she stayed quiet the voice of her head mixing with those of the cats around her. |

Re: January Gathering
@Shade.
It took a considerable amount of self control for Deadmoon not to whirl on the new weight with a hiss and a threat ready on her tongue, with the rogue business having her all on edge and Dogbark quite frankly taking an AGE to make his announcement leaving her sitting in the cold, she was not in the best mood right now. But when a familiar and very welcome voice graced her ear, she was glad she hadn't taken a chunk out of the individual who had surprised her. Hey! I can be VERY quiet if I choose to! I just.....do not choose to! Deadmoon complained, poking her friend goodnaturedly. I'll have you to know that the MOON doesn't talk, while your name is, quite literally RookSCREECH. Implying, you know, screeching noises. Which she had to admit she had never heard from the Shadowclan molly, but what mattered right now wasn't TRUTH. It was about winning their friendly little argument! Attempting to take on a more serious tone, the molly inquired How are things in Shadowclan? Still doing all the clawin and bitin and killin? Hopefully the question wasn't too prying and Rookscreech wouldn't say anything to.....objectionable. Dawnstar's glare last Gathering had given Deadmoon the creeps, and she had no intention of repeating the feat. Thankfully Twilightstar didn't seem perturbed by any out-of-clan friendships as long as they didn't interfere with the health and safety of Windclan, but Deadmoon would still prefer to avoid attention being drawn their way. After all, being pegged as a traitor was never a fun thing, and was liable to end with a whole clan piling on you. Not that it wasn't deserved in those cases where a cat DID actively betray their clan, not only by leaving but by committing some theft or murder as they did so. Which she had no intention of doing! She wasn't into the bitin and stabin and killin, so, you know, most cats were safe! Occasionally she would make an exception for an annoying outsider or Shadowclan foxheart(Rookscreech was not one, before anybody asks, she considered her friend decently chivalrous, in a weird sort of antisocial way) but most of the time, claws were sheathed. NO, OF COURSE it didn't have anything to do with the fact that she wasn't great at fighting and didn't like having her ego bruised? How DARE you suggest that? |
Re: January Gathering
-->Rabbitpaw<--
The molly had arrived really really late, but here she was. The aporentice moved among cats before sitting down. She looked up at the leaders. Looked like it was about to end. Rabbitpaw's ears perked as she heard a clanmate and a cat from Shadowclan. She couldn't keep quiet. Rabbitpaw padded over to Streamoaw and Needlepaw. "Its alright you two. I don't hear any leaders talking anyway. And you shadowclan cat calm down a little. I understand she's telling you shut it, but it ain't nice to call others names.", she meowed. Rabbitpaw was only trying to get them to calm down. |

The molly felt her get her ear with paw. She hissed at her. She didn't move. She knew not to attack it was a gathering. She wasn't going to keep her mouth shut though. "If Shadowclan is the best you'd think they'd know better than to hit a cat at a gathering. If anything Windclan is the best. At least they have better respect. ", meowed Rabbitpaw. Without waiting for an answer the three legged cat moved away. Maybe next time she'll show her not to mess with Windclan. |
Re: January Gathering

After that the apprentice moved along to go get herself a new seat until the gathering was over. No shadowclan cat better talk to her. she didn't like that clan at all. They were full of stuck up cats that don't know the rules of the Gathering. Without speaking to anyone she settled down. |

Rookscreech was glad to see Deadmoon hadn't lost her bark. Yes, the names. "It's quite ironic in my opinion, though I think I said that last time. Man, we might be running out of jokes." she mused quietly. It was rather amusing that all her friendships had consisted of friendly insults but...she'd rather not think about those. Bout him. And her. Her she could deal with, they weren't as close and the generic betrayal she'd experienced so many times was something she could deal with. Him...she didn't understand why he was gone. "Oh, yes, a lot of it. If any of you have been wondering why your dead end up looking like pieces of meat I can tell you the clan has begun a trend of murdering random clan cats and outsiders and bringing Dawnstar the pelts. Her den looks morbid and I'm pretty sure some of the pelts are at your border because Dawnstar just won't quit hating on Twilightstar for...some reason? Needless to say I have not indulged in this new tradition, I've never been one for traditions anyway." she said. The loathing towards her own clan was clear in her voice. |
Re: January Gathering
So Rookie wasn't taking the bait. Dissappointing, tsk tsk tsk. Although she was insulting Deadmoon's originality, something that could NOT be allowed to stand. She would have to make sure to get her friend back for that little jab, not in a malicious way of course, but Deadmoon did not forgive or forget easily! And.....Shadowclan was being weird as usual, killing cats and stealing their pelts, yeesh! Just.......disgusting, and while Deadmoon lacked major attachment to most of the cats in her clan(she was loyal to the idea, Wolfie and Twilightstar, and that was pretty much it. Breezefeather's memory maybe. Yeah, that as well. But killing cats for decoration! That was very, very wrong. Not that there was much she could do about it though. If you can't change the world, hide under a rock and sing LALALALALA until someone else fixes things.
Oh. She....still hadn't responded. In what was an attempt at an airy, unbothered tone(although she didn't think Rookscreech would take too much offense) Deadmoon mewed Well, your clanmates are weird. Honestly not much would surprise me at this point, you guys'll be conversing with badgers next! Lies, but political stuff stunk. Getting in the ways of friendships and stuff. Although she HAD been the one to ask so she couldn't really blame Rookie for telling the truth. In an effort to move on, she inquired What's your favorite kind of prey? No ulterior motives, just a conversation starter, how DARE you suggest that! And no, not for poison. Just......information. For.......later. Probably. @Shade. |
