Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Morningkit » You know, he'd never thought about why it rained. Or why anything happened, really. This question Shiverkit asked him had him frowning, racking his brain for some line of reasoning that made sense to the young kit. "If they cry, then..." he hesitated, briefly distracted by a big drop of rain splashing on the ground, "Then it falls on us?" |

Well, she couldn't exactly admit that she didn't know what she just said, so she supposed she would have to bluff Morningkit for now. Nodding all-knowingly, Shiverkit replied, "Starclan are the cats who have passed from this land, and now watch over the living in the form of stars. Each star represents a Starclan cat." Come to think of it, wasn't stars visible during the day as well? "They don't live in the clouds, but in the stars, and since stars are visible throughout the day, their watch over the clans never ends," She finished proudly. She thought about what she had said for a while, and after finding no loopholes, the black she-kit gave her denmate a triumph smile. |

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Morningkit » As Shiverkit spoke, Morningkit's eyes grew round with wonder. Woah, there was so much stuff he had no idea about! So StarClan cats lived in the stars—those sparkly things he sometimes saw at night? But there were so many of them... "That's a lot of cats," he meowed thoughtfully. As he pondered what the fellow kit had explained, his train of thought steered itself back to the idea of clouds. Why were they there if cats didn't live on them? Were the stars on top of the clouds? The gears in his head turned, trying hard to find an answer for his young and inexperienced self. Wait, where would the stars sit if there weren't any clouds in the sky? Hmmm. That must meant they didn't live on the clouds, or in the clouds. Maybe they didn't have anything to do with clouds. |

@ameko
Shiverkit surpressed a giggle at Morningkit's reaction to the rain. "Of course it's cold, silly! It was leafbare only a moon or two ago, so it may no longer be snow but it's cold!" She explained. Despite her rather abrupt words, her eyes were bright and a small smile spread across her face. Only after a moment did Shiverkit reflect on her words. Her eyes widened in horror as she realized her words may have been perceived as scolding. But she couldn't apologize now unless Morningkit pointed it out or was awkward, or else it would maker her awkward. The black she-kit glanced over at Morningkit with a half-panic half-apologetic look in her eyes. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Vixensnarl huffed as she made her way out of the warriors’ den. With all the betrayals and tensions lately, her Enforcer duties had been keeping her busy and she hadn’t had the chance to take Smolderingpaw out for training. Hopefully he had had the sense to ask some of the other warriors while she was busy. “Smolderingpaw! It’s time for your territory tour. I’ll also teach you how to hunt if you’re not tired at the end.” @dino. |

Longclaw on a rock, yawned, and stared around him, he was kind of bored, not being able to run around with his hurt leg.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
The smile on the warrior's face was reflected on Shiverkit's own. Eyes bright with curiousity and wonder, the black she-kit answered quickly, "Well, I'm talking to you aren't I?" Her head tipped slightly to the side as she regarded Cherryflame again. "What did you say your name was?" She never could remember all her clanmates' names other than a handful, like Dawnstar, Ivysnake, and Nightshiver. Oh, and Morningkit as well. @-wxnderall-
