Cody gave Mazy a lick before falling asleep. This night was better... no dreams... just black empty sleep...

* She awoke and walked outside. She sat down and stared at the tree that Talon jumped from. She padded over to it and leaned her head against it before looking back at her den. She started to climb the tree. Mazy ran outside and tried to call for her mother to stop. Her voice wasn't with her though. *

Cody yawned, and woke up. Mazy was gone. Thyme was gone. He jumped up, and rushed outside. His heart pounded,and his blue eyes widened as he watched Thym climb the tree. He screamed, and cried out. "Momma!" The small tom ran to the tree, and set his front paws as high as he could get them. "MOMMA!!" Tears were once again streaming down his cheeks as he watched everything he loved crumble.

* She stopped when she heard Cody call out for her. She looked down at him and then it happened. A loud crack sounded the air. Thyme plumeted out of the tree and landed in front of Cody on her side. *

Cody wailed when Thyme fell. He screamed, and ran over to his mother. "MOMMA!" The tom wailed, pressing his body to Thyme's. "MOMMA!" Cody was half blind with tears at this point. "Please..." He whispered, closing his eyes.
