It had been a while since the guard duties had begun. Since then, though, the number of guards had depleted from four to two. It was about time to get some more- even with his insomnia, Nighthound was quickly missing out on sleep and it was weighing on his abilities.

Shouldering out of the warrior's den, the massive tom made his way into the clearing. Orange eyes gave a quick pass over the clearing, observing all those within it. He wasn't the most familiar with everyone in the Clan, but he believed he could trust his Clanmates to be able to do their duties. Nighthound's tail twitched and he sat down in the center of the clearing, head raised high as he picked out a few faces from the crowd. Surely a couple of warriors and apprentices would be good- adding in some apprentices to learn guard duties would be a good addition to their training experience, after all.
