Re: Fisher's Point
"I only tried swimming once," Mulberry said casually, though inside she was remembering trying to cross the river. She and Cricket had found a fallen tree and were trying to cross to the other side to find drier ground because of heavy rain. Cricket had tested the tree and was waiting on the other side for her, when the tree was dislodged suddenly by the current and she plunged in. "My brother had to fish me out." @Christmassy Peril

l Fern l She smiled sympathetically, "Some cats just aren't meant to swim." she said helpfully. She took another bite of the fish and got up to stretch. |
Re: Fisher's Point
She saved herself from having to respond by taking another bite. "Did you learn to catch fish all by yourself?" @Christmassy Peril

Re: Fisher's Point
"Yeah that makes sense," Mulberry replied. "Why aren't you in RiverClan?" @Christmassy Peril

Re: Fisher's Point
"Dang, that's rough. I'm sorry." Mulberry wasn't sure she wanted to ask what happened to her father. "I don't remember my parents that much. They both died of greencough." @Christmassy Peril

Re: Fisher's Point
Hurricane smiled. They had something in common! Maybe they could be friends? "I'm mostly alone. I figured coming here would be a nice change of pace." Hurricane thought about her mother, Tempest. Maybe she would still be alive if she had someone to take care of her. This was a chance to make things right.
Hurricane was shook out of her thoughts by a squirrel chittering in a tree. Must be a really stupid squirrel. There must be dozens of cats here! Too bad I can't climb. She flicked her tail to Ida and flicked her ears in the squirrel's direction. There weren't any other trees the squirrel could jump to, and if it got out of the tree it would land right in Hurricane's paws. @Snow Fox |

Cosmo
__________ [Open!] "Ahh, a stroll through the forest, it's been too long since i've been out here." Cosmo said to himself. Ever since he got lost downtown his Humans never let him back out, but today was the day he finally was let back out. The last time he experienced the forest was with some strays, wasn't one's name... Dirt? Dirt! He was talking some nonsense about clans and whatnot. Cosmo didn't know what he was going on about. Man did he miss Marble. He'd met her a few times but.. something about her just made him feel alive. "I wonder how life's been treati-AAHH" One wrong step sent Cosmo tumbling down and hill. For what was 15 seconds felt like days as he fell. Finally, he reached the bottom. The fall didn't hurt that much, but he was certainly going to feel sore for the next few days. Suddenly, he heard the sound of... cats? Just a few though.. but he was close enough. He followed the noise to, abandoned buildings? Well, there was no way he was getting back up that hill, so this would have to do... for now. It was getting dark and he could risk being out in the open. He decided to not engage with the strays and poked around in the buildings. Not any building would work for his Kittypet self, It would have to be secure and comfortable. |
