She looked over at the bird, confused why Tornadopaw was so focused on it. Oh well. She giggled as he circled her, so upbeat, so fun-loving.. ack! Focus! She snapped herself out of it. Why were her thought's like this?!

She gave a small nod. She widened her eyes, not being very sneaky, though she was quiet. "I-I possibly could.." she replied with a small shrug. She didn't doubt she was silent enough, but what if she failed, tripped over her paws right in front of Tornadopaw?! Minkpaw froze, but made herself exhale and calm.

Her breath again caught in her throat as he pushed his face closer to hers, their noses inches apart. It released once he pulled back, and she could finally breath again. "A-Alright!" She replied once he finished his thought.
"I'm pretty fast." She boasted, the humorous tease back in her tone. "Alright" she chuckled, stretching her legs. She raced quickly around him, her face having a grin.

(Pushes them closer together. Now be best friends and more!
Is tempted to make her a warrior after some more developing, but soon)

The dark ginger tabby nodded at her, wanting her to continue on. He found it amusing that she was quite nervous. There was definitely nothing to be nervous about, but he didn't say anything about it. In fact, he found it entertaining. The tom himself was a nervous wreck at times. But, that was only when he was pressured to into doing things he didn't want to do. He didn't want her to feel pressured. Being pressured was never fun.

Tornadopaw got to his paws, flicking his tail and smiling widely at his friend. His ears twitched. The tom had took notice of her stuttering. For a moment, he tilted his head wondering what he was nervous about. He wasn't nervous himself. In fact, he was enjoying himself as his tail swished. It was one of those times when the tom found everything relieving. No one was messing with him, like Stormpaw usually did. Trying to act more of a competition to the tom. Tornadopaw hadn't taken noticed, as he usually does. Nothing was a competition to Tornadopaw. He was simply too kind and clumsy for anything of the sort.

Minkpaw was nothing like Stormpaw. She was kind. She didn't judge him. And, Summerpaw? Tornadopaw hadn't seen the pretty calico around lately. All he knew was that she was probably too busy. Yet, he was surprised that he had remembered her name. He was quite the forgetful tom, but it could had been perhaps that she was a pretty face. For Tornadopaw, remembering pretty faces was beyond easy for the male apprentice.

''You're pretty fast, huh?'' He narrowed his eyes as he approached her. ''I highly doubt that.'' He waved her off with a paw, playfully. ''If you're so fast, go ahead. Show me.'' He challenged. Tornadopaw wasn't the fastest apprentice around. The tom was more built for endurance rather than stamina. It was easier for him to do things longer, to get better, to get stronger.

''You wanna race?'' He asked, a confident smile coming onto his maw. In that moment, he forgot about their training once more. The tom only wanted to have fun, and he was enjoying the time he was spending with Minkpaw.

{xD They're gonna be the best of friends <3
Tornado probably gonna be a warrior within...two more months x3}

(same with *Gasp of realization* they should become warriors together .o.)
Minkpaw felt silly, being this nervous, but she laughed it off. She continued on, her tenseness fading as she finally slowed a bit mostly from laughter. She didn't know why she was laughing so much, but as it faded, she grinned in a silly manner. It felt right, being all silly around Tornadopaw. After all, he was silly too. Why should she be strict all the time? A bit of fun never hurt anyone, right?

She returned the smile, feeling more at ease. Minkpaw flicked her tail happily, eyes glittering with warmth. She stood next to him, a playful expression on her face. Her whiskers twitched as she turned to Tornadopaw. She found he wasn't like the other apprentices. In some ways, anyhow. Minkpaw felt she could come out of her little shell around him and not be made fun of for it. She purred softly, managing to keep the thoughts in her head to 'friends only for now'.

"Well I am!" She boasted teasingly, a grin on her face that showed humor.
She rolled her eyes in a playful manner and stood, racing around him several times. Wind blew threw her fur as she slowly stopped. She caught her breath, returning to his side. Her muscles burned from racing out some of her energy and they rippled under her fur. She groomed her chest fur, licking it as it turned from a mess of fluff into neatly groomed fur.

"Race?" She echoed, blinking quickly. "Uh.. sure!" She replied, enough training for now. "Sounds fun" she added, her ears pricked as she nodded. It may count as.. stamina er - speed or something.. training! She let her claws flex as she stretched her muscles. "Let's go!" She trilled, her energy returning as she twitched her tail and her eyes glittered with excitement. She'd never really raced with someone willingly, just another thing she wanted to do with only him.

((The kits will be.. interesting))

{Yeah!! They should x3 }

Tornadopaw allowed a smile to dangle on his face as he sat down on his haunches and watched as his friend ran around him. The tom seemed to be following her movements, watching as her pelt was ruffled by the wind and her legs pushing through. She had a nice form, the tom had to admit. Then again, he had always liked pretty things. He could vaguely remember gushing about the pretty apprentices to one of his older warrior friends. The older warrior would simply look at him like he was the odd one. Tornadopaw has his odd moments, but who hadn't?

The tom got up, swishing his tail to the side as she joined his a moment later. He saw that her pelt was a bit disorientated and she groomed it. Tornadopaw thought she did well. "Good job. Although you're definitely not built for endurance." He smirked before lightly smacking his tail against her side in a playful manner.

Tornadopaw hopped up from his seat, and he jumped in front of her. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" He bent down, putting his hind in the air with his tail swishing upward. The tom wasn't extremely fast, but he had his moments. He enjoyed a game of any type of fun. He would probably find himself lagging behind just so she could win! Of course, Tornadopaw had manners and he was kind, but not extremely kind. Sometimes he would do things out of spite just to rile someone up. Especially Stormpaw. The tom felt his ears pinning for a moment before he perked them back up, and got into a starting position. "We're not Windclan cats, but still! Running is awesome!" He snickered, then got distracted as he thought about windclan. He thought about all the other clans. He hadn't seen many of the different cats, only whenever there was a clan gathering. That was when he made himself around, peering at the other cats out of curiousity.

Oh, how he was such a tom! Admiring the different she cats, seeing how pretty they were--without even knowing their names. Though Tornadopaw doubt he would ever like any of them. He was a loyal apprentice of Riverclan, and soon a warrior to be. He was glad to take in a mate from Riverclan and raise kits here. Since he was young, he didn't like to think much about that part of his life yet. Many of the Warriors would tell him that he needed to mature.

Mature?Tornadopaw snickered at the thought. Not even as an elder that would happen!

As he got back to the present situation, the tom took a quick glance toward Minkpaw. "Alright," he nodded, and prepared himself. "On your mark, get set," he paused momentarily before shooting off with his legs given speed. "Go!" He shouted loudly, even though he started before the signal was called.

{hah!!! Yeah they definitely are <3 <3 }

(Yesss :happycat: )

Minkpaw chuckled, her tail swaying as she slowed to a stop and turning to Tornadopaw. She approached the tom, her fur ruffled as she groomed a tuft of it down. She sat next to him, her tail curling over her paws as she purred. Her breaths came out in pants but soon returned to the normal speed, her eyes glittered with happiness as she turned her head to Tornadopaw.

"Hey!" Minkpaw laughed at his statement, a mix of humor and challenge on her face. "Well, I guess your right" she finally admitted, knowing what he said was true. She grinned still, unable to keep the expression off of her face as she rose to her paws.

"Oh, i'm sure!" Minkpaw replied, She mimicked his pose, a challenging gleam in her eye. "Be prepared to loose!" She laughed, her whiskers twitching. "Yeah, running is fun!" She agreed. What would it be like to be a WindClan cat. They were scrawny, but fast on their paws. It couldn't be THAT bad to those who lived there.

The only time Minkpaw had talked to a WindClan cat was at the gathering, the time of truce. It was one of the only times cats weren't being hostile towards each other, for StarClan. The Gathering was when she could meet up with her friends from different Clans, and hear about things going on in every Clan. Shaking her mind loose from the thoughts, she looked back at Tornadopaw.

"You'll pay for that!" Minkpaw wailed, chasing after the tom. She raced to catch up with his strides, until she was almost besides him. She grinned and pricked her ears, enjoying the wind in her pelt and the feeling of rushing through the territory.

( Lol, very odd kits but luvable kits <3 )

Tornadopaw continued to dash forward. At first, his mind was keen on winning the race, but it gradually dialed down. He knew he wasn't the fastest apprentice around, and fairly, he preferred having muscle more than anything. At the moment, he wanted to play fight. He loved pinning others down, then running away. It was fun!

He slowed his pace, but kept next to Minkpaw. He threw her a quick smile, before lagging behind her to run up on her other side. ''You feel that wind?'' He asked her, now taking note of the breeze running through his pelt. He understood why Windclan cats adored running so much. ''I think it feels amazing!'' He beamed, before picking up his paws, and allowing them to slow down. It was an easy view for him to watch Minkpaw run.

He watched as her legs made delicate strides. The tom let out a chuckle before he continued to move himself, looking up at the sky as he noticed the birds. His ears flicked backwards for a moment. Suddenly, the tom turned a corner, steering off the race field. He made a small circle before he allowed himself to be a few moments behind Minkpaw.

The tom was quite the devious one. He smirked as his eyes traveled onto Minkpaw. They were almost at the finish line, but Tornadopaw liked to play. So,he pushed himself forward, leaping up and lunging at Minkpaw from the back. His claws stayed intact just so he wouldn't hurt her. ''Hey Minky!--Wanna learn a new move?'' He snickered.

(They will! I love them already <3 Just so much love!!)

Minkpaw managed to keep his speed, her legs thudding onto the ground as she kept her gaze ahead of her. She turned to look at Tornadopaw, seeing him slow down. She slowed her pace a bit, tilting her head. She grinned, knowing he was probably thinking of something fun.

Smiling at him, she nodded "Yeah, it feels amazing!" She agreed, letting wind rush through her fur. She continued to run, figuring Tornadopaw would catch up. If not, she'd stop for a moment just so they could be closer together. This was less of a race, more of a run together currently.

Minkpaw glanced behind her, amused. "Birds?" She mused, her ears pricked. She looked towards the sky, seeing their silhouettes in the sky. "Huh, birds." She whispered, but shook her head and focused on running.

She squeaked, stopping and tumbling slightly. "Cheater!" She teased with a laugh, nodding. "Sure, now that you used it" she added, her tail twitching. She wasn't as mad as if someone else would have done it, with Tornadopaw it was.. funny, for some reason.

( Much love!! <3 )

She hated being compared. It drove her mad, am I just not good enough? Do I just have to become breezerunner? Will that make you happy? She shouted within her mind, allowing the anger to drain out gradually. The nerve. When suddenly he remarked that she had done well enough, that was a start to a better relationship with her mentor. Considering he was always insulting her and she was spitting fire at him. This was the never ending cycle they both played. Than he mentioned battle skills. Her ears flattened, not trusting what he had said. "B- battle training?" she questioned. Eyes transfixed on him.

Crowblood nodded in confirmation, flicking his tail. "If we only focus on hunting, then how well will you do in a battle?" He questioned, sitting in front of Feralpaw. He studied her for a moment, flicking his ear to the side. "You seem angry with me." The old cat observed. "So take that anger out on this old tom. For every hit you manage to land on me, you'll get one day of training with other apprentices. No claws though, I don't think I can handle your fury if you had claws out." Crowblood chuckled, standing up. "Once I get a feel for what your talent is in battle, I'll help you out with the other aspects."

Is he serious? Me. Able to actually fight? Good. I've got lots of pain to let out. she lashed her tail in amusement. "Every hit? Really? Your going to balence that on this one fight?" she purred. Flexing her claws and rocking back on her haunches.

@Sage the ebony warrior was exausted and tired, his paws and underbelly were caked in mud. The rain was pelting down and his fur stuck to his slim frame, making him look much smaller. His ears were pinned to his head and his eyes were squinted, his green optics flickered with exaustion. After a few moments the night colored warrior grinned and turned to look at his daughter behind him 'quickly! Run inside the cave!' he laughed running to the moss covered cavity himself. Once inside he shook the rain off and began to have a giggle fit 'happy we train in a cave!' he exclaimed before letting out a gush of air. Toothless gave allurepaw a lick and looked around' this right here is where youll be trained in combat, and once the rain passes that river right outside is where youre going to learn to swim.' he stated, his tail brushing the soil slightly as he flicked it back and fourth.

Shellfeatger meowed to him, pushing through the reeds and into the Trainig Cave. She inhaled the musty scent of it, and as her eyes adjusted to the dim, she gazed around. I haven't been here in a long time...

The white-furred warrior walked around the teaming cave a little, letting the memories of this place sink in. Back when she was Shellpaw, learning all the basic things she needed to know before she became a warrior. She remembered training hard and learning fast, always wanting to make a good impression for her mentor. Who never really seemed to care. Shellfeather could also remember times training here with other apprentices, like her best friend Scorchingflame, Scorchingpaw at the time. Her and him had gotten along well here, and that was when they had started becoming friends. And this was also the place where Shellfeather had first realized her feelings for Russetpaw, now Russetstar. Those were good times. But things were different now. She had had two litters of kits, and only one kit had lived from her first litter, and three kits from her second. Shellfeather had been through so much pain and suffering, but she continued to move on with life. That was something that most cats didn't realize about Shell. She was strong, and she continued on no matter what.

She turned back to face Pleasantpaw, smiling at him. "Well, this place sparks some old memories, so I might be able to remember most of my battle training after all!" She purred, gray striped tail swishing happily. Her sapphire blue eyes sparkled with humor and kindness, and she sat and waited whole Pleasantpaw had a look around.

[Sorry this is so late! ^^']

As they walked to the Training Cave, Pleasantpaw stuck close to his mentor. Every now and again, he would trail behind for a bit before he quickly caught up again. Being in a new place made the tom feel rather cautious. Although he would learn about the territory soon enough, he was going to be careful for now. Anything could jump out at them at any moment.
The Tuxedo’s ears swivelled around and he looked at her curiously when she spoke. “Oh. Well let’s see, my brothers are Stormsoul and Fallenstream and my sisters are Shatterspiral and Splashpaw,” He listed quickly. The names all slipped out of his mouth without a thought. His eyes darkened slightly at the mention of his mother but it was barely noticeable. “Driftingstorm. She’s dead. She was a good cat when she was still alive though,” Pleasantpaw said, keeping up the cheerful tone despite what the topic was. Things always seemed to be better if he spoke in a happy tone, no matter what he was talking about. He brushed off his mother’s death like it was just dust, but really it hurt more than it seemed. Driftingstorm’s death had been a surprise to all of them, but she’d done it to protect him and his siblings from his father.

When he grew up, Pleasantpaw was going to be better cat than his father had been. He wanted to be cooler than his brothers too. Maybe he would fight evil when he grew up. That sounded like fun. It probably meant that death would be involved, but that was the thrill of an adventure. He had already experience one of the worst kinds of death, the death of his mother, but that had just made him stronger if anything. The apprentice refused to let death ever affect him again. Except if it was the death of littermate. The thought made him shudder. He didn’t want to think about Splashpaw dying, so he pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind and returned his attention to Shellfeather. Realising that they had reached the Training Cave, he pushed past the reeds after his mentor and stood still once he was inside.

His pale gaze looked around, examining every little detail of the Training Cave. He was a very observant cat and he always studied everything new that he came across. It was all about building up knowledge for him. As it was his first time, he probably wouldn’t be able to remember everything. He was still working towards advancing his memory. Over time, he would eventually learn to remember every dent and crevice in the Training Cave. Finally, he decided he’d look around enough and he padded over to his mentor. He sat down in front of her and wrapped his tail around his paws. “I’m ready to start,” Pleasantpaw said calmly, waiting patiently for his mentor to start the lesson.

@Rubinaito

Steadying herself on her paws, feralpaw bowed. If crowblood meant what he said in attacking him. She would do it with ease and prove that she was actually worth his struggle. Her tail flicked back and fourth in a rythmic motion. Her Amber gaze searched the older Tom for weak points. That's what you did when facing an enemy. Size them up. Know their weakness and attack it. She smirked at him and bowed lower to the ground wriggling her whole hind end and prepared to leap. She bunched her muscles. This is for every time you said I wasn't good enough, for every time you told me I couldn't, for every time you said I was weak. she purred and bunched the muscles in her legs, than sprang. She never felt more alive or free on that moment. She came gliding down through the air at crowblood but to her dismay she learned she would fall short. In desperate attempt to reach him she extend her front legs and batted at him but instead she threw herself off balence and she began to twist in the air, this lead to her failing to reach him and looking like a complete idiot. She collided with the ground and rolled a tail length before coming to a stop beneath crowblood. Shamed the apprentice looked up at him. Tears glistened in her eyes but she said nothing. She put her guard walls up knowing what chastising she would recieve for failure. She hung her head low and didn't bother scurrying up to try again.

Shellfeather hoped that she hadn't brought back any bad memories for the young tom. She knew how hard it was to talk about someone who we dead. Or gone. She'd experienced both losses, with family members and friends alike. "Oh, well I'm sorry to hear that. I bet she certainly was a wonderful cat though. And still is, up in Starclan." Shellfeather's belief in Starclan had never faltered, no matter how much pain or suffering she went through. She knew that her life was her own, and she believed that all of her pain was for a reason. And that it would make her a better cat in the end.

As Pleasantpaw dat down in front of he, ready to start, Shellfeathercast her blue gaze slowly around, thinking. She could see, from memory, young cats in here, training, working hard, shaping up to be averted warrior, a better fighter. She remembered when she was doing that, excited to show her clan what she could do. She had served her young warriorhood as a queen, bearing healthy kits for the clan. And now, she was finally serving her clan as a warrior, training her apprentice. Shellfeather was glad that she hadn't decided to stay a forever queen. The white molly had deeply considered it, but she knew that being in the nursery for the rest of her life would bring back bad memories. She needed to get out, to breathe, to live.

"Let's start with a simple but effective move." Shellfeather meowed firmly. "Watch closely." She then demonstrated the move. Crouching down, Shellfeather imagined a cat in front of her, running towards her. As the imagined cat leaped, Shellfeather slid underneath them, kicking up her legs which caused the cat to unbalance and fall instead of landing in top of her. She then poured on the figure of the cat she had imagined. When she was dive demonstrating, the cat faded from her mind, and she looked over at Pleasantpaw. "Did you catch that?" She asked, flicking her tail a bit to rid it of the dust.

The tom was never that upset when someone brought up his dead mother. He was proud to have had such a wonderful mother, even if he had never gotten to truly know her. Despite his young age, the Tuxedo understood life and death just that little more than another cat of his age. Pleasantpaw knew that death was eventually going to make an appearance in everyone’s life eventually, whether it be the death of a friend, foe, family member, or even themself. His father and mother were both dead and he had treaded on the border of death before, so he made no complaint when the topic came up. “She was a wonderful mother and a brave cat,” Pleasantpaw murmured, a small, sad smile crossing his maw before he widened it and made it more cheerful.
If there was anything the tom had learnt in his lifetime, it was that you had to be positive. Personally, the tom could be rather dark at times, yet he always seemed to have a smile on his face. It was as if the smile was painted onto his face and he couldn’t let anything waver it. The black and white apprentice had rather dark thoughts and dangerous ideas in his mind, yet at first glance, no one would ever be able to see that. He just concealed his darkness with a cheerful grin.

Pleasantpaw pushed his thoughts back and returned his attention to his mentor as her words broke through. The apprentice did as he was asked, watching his mentor’s movements and keeping note of everything that she did. He nodded slowly as she spoke again, replaying the move in his mind on repeat. He closed his eyes for a moment and tried to think of how his mentor had completed the move with such ease. Perhaps she had been imagining a fake opponent? The tom had often seen kits fighting imaginary enemies outside the nursery, so maybe that’s what she had done. Except, she would’ve been more grown up about it.
Slowly, he opened his eyes again and crouched down as his mentor had done. Imagining that a cat was in front of him, he launched forward with power. He slid underneath the imaginary cat as they leaped upwards and kicked his back legs up. However, the power he had put into sliding underneath the cat and kicking upwards was too much for him and he tumbled onto the ground, ending up as a heap of fur on the floor. For a moment, he didn’t move. Only a few seconds later did he sit up straight, shaking his fur free of the dust. He suppressed a hiss of frustration and kept calm. “I put too much power in,” Pleasantpaw murmured to himself, looking up at Shellfeather with disappointment glinting in his yellow hues. He had been hoping to impress his mentor, but had been unsuccessful.

Re: RiverClan Training Cave

@Lawlipop

First training session. First real one on one with Briarpaw. She seemed friendly enough at the ceremony, and like an intelligent young cat, I believe this should go well.
This would actually be Cobaltshade's first apprentice, she's never trained an apprentice before and sure while she was nervous, she believed that she would be able to be the best mentor she could be. She was a mother before she was a mentor, so maybe she'd have a little problem of being too soft on her, but when was that a bad thing? While she didn't openly admit it to other cats, she had a soft spot for kits and young cats in general. They just.. They made her happy and melted her cold, calculating exterior.
But that wasn't on her mind at the moment, what was on her mind was the time she had given her apprentice to meet her here by. Noonhigh. She felt that was a reasonable time, not too early, not too late right? She would have to work out the kinks later, learn through trial and error, a method she didn't normally like to use, but a method she was forced to use in this circumstance. And what was she going to do with today's training? Starting with battle training would be a little too harsh right? So maybe she'd just see what Briarpaw could do huntingwise, or at least her form, how she stalked, her technique for killing, her thinking process that kind of thing. Yes, that sounds good, easy, good way to see where she is in that aspect. And a good chance to get to know her a little better too. It's good to know your apprentice and how they learn. Right?
Exhaling slowly, Cobaltshade forced herself to realize that she couldn't plan everything, that sometimes, you just had to go with what you had and stop worrying about things in the future. This wasn't a battle strategy, she wasn't trying to take down some unknown enemy. She was raising a young cat to be a warrior, a good warrior for Riverclan. Hopefully she wouldn't fail in this task. She wanted to be a good mentor for Briarpaw, one that made her excited to become a warrior and serve her clan dutifully.

Mistytuft walked into the Training cave. Wind ruffling through her fur.
She flicked her tail, wincing at the pain her her front leg. She had gotten washed away in the flood, and her leg got scraped up by a stray rock.
She had refused to go to the medicine cats' den. "Onionpaw!" Mistytuft mewed, looking for her apprentice. She flicked her tail, orange eyes glancing for her apprentice's white pelt. Mistytuft sat down, taking a breath as she wated for her apprentice. Letting herself relax, her muscles let all the tightness go. She opened her eyes slightly, looking for her thin apprentice.

[ Short is good. I'm tired <3 ]

Onionpaw scurried along behind his mentor. Being on riverclan felt so wrong and yet nobody else seemed bothered by it. Apprenitces where tussling together, Warriors where sharing tongues, hunting and patrolling together and everybody seemed to just get along except onionpaw. He mainly restricted himself to speaking with Shadowclan cats while ignoring the Riverclan cats that seemed to be everywhere.nit was very scary to think about it, sleeping so close to en enemy while nobody seemed even slightly troubled by it. The small Siamese darted behind each bush as she followed Mistytuft to the training cave. It reeked of riverclan apprentices and he hated the stench. He had yet to get used to the smell of rotting fish everywhere, it was a slow process. As onionpaw watched his mentor closely, his eyes large due to the fear of some riverclan warrior leaping out he noticed her slight limp. The apprentice caught up to her just as she sat down and expected her leg for a long moment, seeing many scratches and a deep gash. He crouched to unless etc it further. "W- what's that?" he meowed starring at it.

{*Clones Misty for a Moment* Oh, and congrats for getting into the top three for TC Meddie <3!}
Her orange eyes widened and her ears flicked up. Misty watched as her apprentice looked at her leg. "I-uh," She mewed. Mistytuft smiled, moving down as she rested her muzzle on his head for a moment. "I just fell on a rock during the flood." She mewed. Yawning, Mistytuft stretched and looked at Onionpaw. "I just need to be more careful, now come on. Let's train," She mewed. Mistytuft stood up, crouching as she looked at Onionpaw. "Okay, try and knock me over." Misty mewed.

Onionpaw looked at her for a moe,not but shut his eyes when she rested her muzzle on his forehead. "Doesn't it hurt?" he protested looking at it catiosuly as she stood back up and took a few paces backward. The Siamese than sat back down seeing as she crouched for a battle move. [Oniontuft 2017 My new OTP]
Mistytuft playfully pawed at Onionpaw. "Hm, well then." She said, looking away for a moment as she thought. Her tail flicked and she looked back at Onionpaw.
He was getting pretty big now. Something in her heart wanted him to stay with her. She pushed the feeling aside, smiling. "Let's go hunting. You need to do some kind of training." Mistytuft mewed. Orange eyes looking at the white and black tom. Her ears twitched, listening as her paws ached to run. Hoping the tom would say yes.

[ We should sign them up for a Shadowclan patrol ]

Onionpaw looked up at the ceiling of the cabe and bit his lip. Looking as if he was considering her offer to hunt. He than ourred and batted at her paws and butted his head with hers. "Of course, but please don't strain yourself too hard" he added looking more serious for a brief moment until he tunred and padded out of the cave. He breathed a deep heavy sigh and blinked. Having mistytuft near him almost made it easier to settle into riverclan. He trotted down the muddy oath being careful to take the slow and easy path for Mistytuft. Didn't want her to hurt herself.

Her tail waved was she ignored the small burn from her leg. Trotting next to Onionpaw, she looked around. "I'd hate to say, but Riverclan isn't that bad.

( R E V I V E S ) Hailstorm was taken aback, nobody had ever spoken to her like that. "It...it's ok" she said not sure of what to say, the Maine coon had not even noticed the apprentices staring. She decided to shrug it off wanting to begin training her apprentice "So which would you rather begin training to master?" she asked "Hunting or Fighting?". Her Icy Blue eyes blinked, her apprentice was a curious little fellow from the way he spoke to his pelt, She knew this one was going to be fun to train.

Oakenshade strolled through the long reeds, his whiskers twitching. He was going to the Training Cave to see if he could be of any use. The sun beat down on his tawny fur and his eyes gleamed with new energy. Oakenshade often liked hunting and fighting for his clan, but he didn't prefer watching training. The tom enjoyed training with himself, but hadn't found himself battle training in a while. He hadn't had the privlage of training a 'paw of his own for quite a while, but, as he arrived near the cave, his paws prickled with ease. Maybe he could find something to do now.

The tabby tom cat parted his powerful jaws, scenting for any presence of other cats; but he was alone. He peered inside and, with a shrug, squeezed all the way into the dim cave. His gaze shone around the area as he looked carefully around. Oakenshade decided to stay for a bit to see whether anyone would show up. Maybe he could help out a bit. The tom made his way over to a dark corner and circled once. Sitting on his haunches, the dark colored tom twitched an ear and began to groom, dipping his large head down and lapping quietly at his chest fur.

Oakenshade flicked his tail, hearing pawsteps approach the cave. He looked up and gave a welcoming mew, glad for another cat to join him.

"Hello, Troutnose. I'd love to train together." He gave a polite, sincere dip of his broad head, stood up, and slowly padded over to the tom. He wasn't sure whether the other cat knew Oakenshade by name, but, as he himself enjoyed learning new things, including names, had remembered Troutnose's.
Oakenshade flexed his powerful shoulders, sizing him up. Maybe they could start with something simple. Twitching his ear invitingly, Oakenshade came to a decision.

"Try and unbalance me." He meowed in his deep voice. The two hadn't actually said who would be in charge but, being in Oakenshade's personality, he naturally took it upon himself. Ofcourse, if Troutnose wanted to take charge, he needn't do anything but ask. Oakenshade would step down like a gentleman and see what he had to say. It was simply in his nature, even when he was a kit and a young 'paw.

Troutnose ears perked as he smiled
" ok! " he said in a cheery voice and he crouched he scratched the ground and charged at Oakenshade he lunged at the tom

Oakenshade gave a nod of his head and lurched into a crouch. A low snarl ripped from his throats as his eyes glazed with light. It always helped him whene he felt like he was actually fighting an enemy. As Troutnose leaped at Oakenshade, he stepped neatly aside. The wild light dissipated from his gaze as he looked over at the other tom.
"Try not to let your gaze give you away," he meowed, raising up a paw and giving it a swift lick.

(Thanks! :) )
Oakenshade watched the tom, annoyance sparking off his pelt. Was this tom not paying attention on purpose?! I thought he was enthused to fight. But, as the words ran through his head, he saw where the cat was looking. Has he learned nothing? He thought, but just then, Oakenshade was bowled over. He let out a huff as the wind was knocked out of him. So he had been paying att- his thoughts broke off as he felt claws digging into his pelt.
"Claws sheathed!" He spat, raking himself from Troutnose and shaking out his coat. He was more angry at himself for not having specified that before hand, but then he gave a slightly begrudging nod of approval.
"Much better." He added, twisting his body around to check for any bad damage. Thankfully, it was just a few scratches. The bleeding wasn't bad, and only a faint scent of blood rose from the minor wounds.

Troutnose ears perked
" sorry! I didn't intend on harming you! " he meowed and had his head down he scratched the ground in shame his tail slumped
" I'm a mouse brain of a cat! " he hissed at himself.
' Pay attention !' He thought as he looked at oakenshades wound , guilt rose inside of him like a volcano eruption .
