Re: Willow's Rise
Oh, good that worked. Fallingpaw fallingback made it easier for Wolfhive to recover from losing his balance, and with Fallingpaw coiled up Wolfhive rerouted.
His plan was simple, using Fallingpaw's coiled posture to allow himself to flank him. He'd aim to go around him and send a flurry of swipes toward his backside and near his tail, before backing off. [ @Spider-in-the-corner ] |

Re: Willow's Rise
"Might need to call you Fallingturtle with that shuffle of yours!"
Then Wolfhive lunged. Since Fallingpaw was playing defensive, he decided to try to break it - aiming to collide with Fallingpaw's shoulder. [ @Spider-in-the-corner ] |
Re: Willow's Rise
@BEAR.
Fallingpaw ignored wolfhives meow not letting wolfhive in his head he stayed ready for wolfhive to pounce and he did now With wolfhive on his back fallingpaw remembered his training and rolled with wolfhive getting him off his back quickly before taking the offensive attack by butting into wolf hive |
Re: Willow's Rise
Wolfhive knew Fallingpaw was going to roll, but his pal was quick enough that Wolfhive couldn't disengage in time. He ended up on the ground with a slight grunt, winded further by Fallingpaw bunting him. While he tried to gather himself, he used his backlegs to kick upward - as a way to 'fend' him off.

@Bear
Fallingpaw went back for another assault but got kicked instead that's scuffled him back a bit but he stood strong waiting for wolfhive's next move |
Re: Willow's Rise
Wolfhive sprang back to his paws once he regained himself, and let out a hoarse little laugh. "Not bad at all! Just focus on taking advantage of what openings you can get - like now, you could've clobbered me while I was trying to get my breath back." Defense wise though, Wolfhive thought he did well enough - especially for someone who'd been sitting around camp for so long.
Wolfhive shook dust from his pelt and twisted to lap down a piece of ruffled fur. "Think we can call this good for today, you ready to head back?" [ @Spider-in-the-corner ] |
Re: Willow's Rise
@BEAR.
Fallingpaw shook himself "Thank you!" he smiled stretching his body "And sure we can stop for the day." he stood up waiting for wolf the lead the way (Wanna start the SAR after this?) |

Re: Willow's Rise
Woodpaw He was grateful for Orangeblossom to help him on the patrol. He was sure to finish it in time, and maybe he would've already done so if Eggbite was here... but they're not. Shaking his pelt, he followed the warrior out to the Willow's Rise, ears perked up as he looked around the territory. "I can look for poppies and borages..." He said, trailing off. Even though he was supposed to look for all of them, maybe with the help of Orangeblossom he can be quicker. [Roll: 10 | Success] [Roll: 8 | Fail] He was able to scent out borages first easily- he had already looked for the herb on the last patrol beforewards and was then more familiar with it. However, he had no luck finding poppies, as of now. [+2 borage] |
