She got up to her paws and twitched her ears. Slipkit peer through the entrance of the nursery and grew excited as she saw Hazelpaw and Hollowkit. She rushed towards them and jumped up and down. "What are we doing?"
@Splash

"Badger rides," Hazelpaw told Slipkit. "Snowkit and Hollowkit already went; it's your turn."

Whitenose smiled," Who knows?"
Hollowkit squeaked in excitement," I rode a badger!"

@Beau

Coastkit stirred in his nest, his brown stripes seeming to ripple with every breath in and out; especially as they quickened with his rousal from slumber. It didn't take long for this energetic kit to open his eyes and hop to his paws, any trace of sleepiness gone from his eyes in mere seconds. It always seemed to take him longer to get to sleep than to awake from it, which could be a good and bad thing. The first thing he noticed was that the nest was emptier than usually; their mother off doing her morning rounds already. "Is it already that late?" His tiny voice squeaked as he turned to prod his sister who had been sleeping beside him. It was more of a question to himself than to her, though. "Tumblekit," He meowed softly. "It's mornin' time now." The tom kit hardly waiting for her to respond to his prod and meow before turning and attempting his luck at climbing out of their nest of moss without tripping, stumbling, or falling. He didn't make it very far before tumbling back down to the bottom, gigling the entire way. The tom kit was barely awake for five seconds, and was already hyper as could be.

Two crystalline pools of blue opened slowly as the kit whom they belonged to was awoken. Coastkit's voice rang sharply in Tumblekit's still groggy ears. Tumblekit's sleep-clouded eyes narrowed as her pupils moved to the side. She was laying with her back to Coastkit, and therefore couldn't see him even when she moved her eyes, but it was just how she wanted it. Sleep was very important to Tumblekit, and her brother wasn't going to get away with rousing her before she wanted to wake up. Her ears flicked to attention as Coastkit tried to climb out of the nest, listening for the perfect opportunity. The opportunity arrived in the form of Coastkit falling back into the depths of the nest. In a flash, Tumblekit was on her feet, leaping at her brother like a bolt of lightning. Her paws were out-stretched and her narrowed, focused eyes glinted with excitement. Tumblekit already had the speed of a hare and deadly precision. At least it would be deadly once she was bigger than a squirrel and her claws weren't about as dangerous as a thorn.

Coastkit, having been pre-occupied with his small tumble back into the nest, let out a squeal as he caught sight of his sister mid-leap and heading straight for him. She was fast, and there wouldn't have been enough time for him to move if he had wanted to. At impact, he let out a huge oof, his sister landing squarely onto his chest. If he had tried such a move, he would've missed; most likely overshot his target. However, he wouldn't know about his lack of natural skill until moons from now; seeing such natural skill in others wouldn't bother him until then. His giggling only increased as he struggled to 'fight' off his attacker, his eyes wide with happiness and excitement. It was this kind of interactment that would lead to his sister being his best friend for life; and Coastkit couldn't get enough of it. Being slightly bigger than his only littermate, he had a slight advantage in the wrestling category, but very obviously didn't know how to use that advantage to help himself. Instead of trying to roll them so that he'd squish her and pin her down, like anyone else would naturally do, he just used his too-large paws to bat at Tumblekit's ears.

"Haha, Gotcha!" Tumblekit crowed as she landed on her brother, reveling in his 'oof.' The thrill of the "battle" shone in her eyes and beat wildly in her chest. Their little battle made Tumblekit so happy, despite the fact that she was just woken up. She knew she'd always love her brother, and wouldn't be able to bear hurting him, hence the sheathed claws as they tussled in the nest. Coastkit was larger than Tumblekit and always would be, but as of that moment as kits, he didn't know how to use it. She wasn't aware of the extent of her own talents either, she simply leaped and happily, always hit her target. Coastkit's large paws swinging at her made her eyes widen and she dodged a few. Then, one of his paws caught her and she squealed, pulling back. Giggling, the young molly batted her own, smaller paws at her brother. After slinging her paws at Coastkit a few times, Tumblekit leapt off of her brother, dodging his paws and tucking in to role across the mossy floor and bounce to her paws.

The move was clumsy and she almost fell over, but the kit managed to remain on her paws. Bits of moss was interlaced with her sleek seal point patterned fur and bits of fur stuck out at all angles, but a happy smile shone from her face, showing the fact that she didn't care at all. Tumblekit looked around, noting the absence of their mother. "Coastkit!" She exclaimed, her blue eyes widening with her brilliant idea, "Mom's not here! Let's sneak out into the clearing!" Being only a moon old, Tumblekit and Coastkit hadn't been allowed out of the nursery yet. What better way to see the camp for the first time than to sneak out while their mother was away?

Haykit lay curled up in a ball, tears streaming down her face she kept repeating four names softly,"momma, daddy, Snowkit, Morningkit...." She sighed,"I must find a way to join you in Starclan." She promised sadly...

Blackblaze walked into the nursery. He was intending to visit his pregnant mate, but one look at Haykit and his plans were out the den. "Hey there, are you okay?" The smaller male quietly laid down beside the sobbing kit, wrapping his tail around her.

Haykit glanced at the tom,"No. I'm the only one of my kin who survived the flood." She whispered crying quietly.

"Oh." Blackblaze's ears drooped, listening to the kit crying. In his best comforting tone, he said "I'm sure there's someone around heee to take you in. Do you mind if I ask their names?" He wanted to know if he knew them.
