Streamgaze padded back into the nursery. She spared a glance for the kits, still not used to having ShadowClan cats in the camp, before trotting over to her nest and settling down within it. She felt her kits wriggle within her and huffed, squinting her eyes. It wouldn't be long now.

She would have to remember to shred Snowwhisker once the kits had arrived for making her go through this. The silver she-cat sighed and rested her head on her paws, eyes half-closed as she watched the nursery.

"I can assure you your family was made of great warriors." Blackblaze pitied the kit, he knew losing family was hard. He thought quickly, trying to cheer her up. "Hey, do you like to play anything with other kits? Maybe that'll cheer you up."
(Dies she have planned foster parents?)

(no. I've been looking around everyone ignored the finder, but if Blackblaze wants to be adoptive father that's fine by me.)
No. A dumb kit game won't cheer me up.the light colored 3 moon old kit thought silently, but nodded,"Alright. I suppose I can play, though I doubt it will help."

(Okay, because he has a mate expecting kits who could rise her. I might have to speak to them though)

"Okay. Do you want to pick?" Blackblaze felt bad that the kit wasn't amused, and wanted to help. He was trying to take the little kits mind off of her family, although he new that was hard to do.

(alright)
Haykit shrugged,"I don't have an preferences. I guess mouse and warrior, hide n seek, badger rides, clan attack..." She trailed off.

The entrance of Frostedhawk was quiet, and Cloversplash didn't hear him at first; she was too focused on the tiny she-kit snuggled warmly against her. Gently, she licked at the wriggling being, picking at the mottled fur until it gleamed pristinely, the picture of cleanliness. Her smile only grew; a surge of motherly love, built up from many seasons of yearning for a family, washed through her, seeming to clean away the debris of the past, leaving her moored securely to her budding family, in the present.

Finally, she heard his familiar footsteps, gentle against the packed earthen floor of the nursery. Her eyes lit up, and her head pivoted backward, and she watched him come towards her and the kit, his own deep amber orbs glowing in what could be described only as a mixture of pure love and deep excitement. Her tail swished loosely around the kitten, as her neck was no longer warming them. She stretched her nose out to his in a greeting, bumping it affectionately against his as he approached.

Ever since losing her first litter, Cloversplash had always had mild depression; a general want to not do anything, though she still was able to function in her day to day life. She wasn't as much of a mess as Frostedhawk had been after losing his sister; instead, with the help of numerous friends and her mother, before Seabreeze had passed, she had healed to a point of continuing to live. She would see her kits in StarClan again. But it had always left her with a deep desire to have a real family, a mate, and children of her own. And she had known very quickly that Frostedhawk was a good match for her; though cold, he was loving and passionate once you broke through the roughness.

The romance was slow, but worthwhile; once he asked her to be her mate, she knew that he was the one. In both her lives, she had never loved so fully or truly. "Your daughter, Frost. She's beautiful; she'll grow up to be just as strong as her dad." Her words were soft, loving, her verdant green orbs glued to the innocent creature. "Now the question is; what to name her? Originally I was thinking something like Oceankit or Cloudkit, but I don't think that suits her. What do you think, love?" Cloversplash purred, her eyes drifting up towards Frostedhawk as she awaited an answer.

The young kit's small paws pressed against her mother's soft, warm belly in which she found comfort. Warmth flooded through them, and they wished they could press further against their mother, but they were already as close as close can be. With her other senses not as advanced, the kit relied heavily on touch. Due to being a newborn, her eyes were glued shut tightly and her ears were folded against her head. She could not hear, smell, nor see. She could, however, taste the milk that slid very easily down her throat, settling heavily in her belly.

They were pulled away from their mother's belly when a rough surface tugged at her pelt. Little did she know, her mother was washing her. She wouldn't of been pulled back if she had been expecting such a sneaky attack. Clearly, her mother liked to play dirty - attacking a blind and deaf cat! She mewled loudly, reaching for her mother's warmth, already forgiving her mother for the abrupt actions. Finally, she felt her mother's belly, and continued to fill her own belly.

She was not aware of her father's approach, but she was very aware of her mother's movements. She knew her mother moved, but she didn't know why, and to put it bluntly, she truly did not care enough to find out why. Right now, she was all about milk, her paws kneading the soft wall in front of her. She felt the tickle of fur against her body - her mother's tail brushing her - but once more, she did not care to investigate.

She felt her daughter wiggling slightly, mewling with obvious annoyance. Cloversplash let out the quietest of chuffs, a gentle laugh at the kit's annoyance. It was not out of malice; only out of amusement at her desperation to nurse. "Sweetheart..." she purred to the kitten, once again resting her muzzle next to the tiny creature's own. Her breath softly ruffled the fluffy mottled cheek fur, the tiny hairs waving gently. "I love you, little one," Cloversplash cooed, smiling.
(sorry it's short, i don't really have much else for her to do around juniper!)

(i'm sorry for taking awhile to reply :c)

Warmth filled the warrior as he was greeted by Cloversplash. Despite just going through labor, she was still the most beautiful she-cat that lived in the clans. In case there were any suspicions he had that she wouldn't be alright after giving birth, he had rushed over. But now he could see that she was alright. Not only that, but so was their daughter! He didn't care that there was only one kit, it wasn't like he cared about the number of kits and was just so happy that everyone seemed okay. his tail waved when his mate and dearest friend touched his nose when he approached the nest she was occupying.

In all honesty, the tom didn't care about having another litter at first. He knew he was a terrible father to his first litter and hadn't given them the love and attention that they needed - at least Quillpaw become a good cat, but Foampaw was now dead and Mudpaw didn't even bother with him. In fact, he had been nervous that Cloversplash might some day ask him for kits, to have a family of their own. But knowing that his mate was a loving and motherly cat with much love to give to kits, he realized that she actually really wanted to have another litter. After that, he was left with some thinking to do. He ended up realizing that he actually might want to have kits with the cat he loved. They had decided to have some kits, but after finding out that she was pregnant, Frostedhawk became scared of having kits again. He knew how happy his mate had been at the time, and he knew that he's have to be a much better father to their kit than he was to his first kits.

He did truly wish to have kits with his beloved Cloversplash.

Frostedhawk blinked when he was informed that his knew kit was a daughter. He turned his warm amber gaze towards her and licked her head a bit. "Our little girl..." the warrior glanced back up when she began to tell him about what she had thought for the kit's name. He nodded when she claimed that she had initially thought about something like Oceankit or Cloudkit, but now was having second thoughts for naming their daughter that since it didn't seem to suit her all that well. Frostedhawk hesitated when she asked him for any suggestions. Biting his lip he thought for a moment. "I'm not the best at naming kits," he admitted after a few moments of silence. "Umm... well, how about something to do with herbs or plants? I mean, you use to be close to Marshsnow and seem to know Geckoleaf, right?" The grey and white tom hoped that it made sense what he was saying. "Like... Orchidkit, Coniferkit, Mosskit, Juniperkit, Alderkit...?" Beginning to list off a few names from his head, hoping that maybe Cloversplash would hear one that she likes.

His attention towards naming the kit was put on hold when he noticed their daughter moving about in the nest. He purred while watching her, forgetting about naming the small bundle of mottled fur. His tail curled while watching her squirm around. The warrior hoped that she would grow up to be like her mother and be a great warrior someday. Being able to help the clan. Maybe even some kits of her own in the future? Though at the thought, a protective feeling over came her, not wanting toms to get too close to his innocent kit. His amber orbs glanced towards the tabby as she warmly informed the small kit that she loved her, and he offered a small chuckle at the adorable scene.

His amber orbs glanced towards the tabby as she warmly informed the small kit that she loved her, and he offered a small chuckle at the adorable scene.

"Juniperkit!" she exclaimed softly, the name striking a strange cord in her mind, though she didn't know why. "Oh, it's absolutely perfect! Juniper berries are used for healing... of course... I think for your stomach or something like that? Either way, she'll be an amazing warrior or mother! Maybe one day we'll have grandkits!" she mewed excitedly, smiling widely, her dull teeth, no longer white and pretty like when she was young, showing, a few chipped teeth adding character to the aged molly.

Cloversplash had been apprehensive about children, too; after losing her first litter, she had worries about whether or not her genetics were suited to it. Was she infertile? Would every kit she mothered be born crooked and broken, or be born dead? Her heart had broken every day of her pregnancy; though she was happy, of course, that Frostedhawk was having children of his own, the tabby warrioress had worried endlessly about what physical malformations they may have.

Her pregnancy itself had been rather mild; the only differences she really noticed was her moods and hunger levels. She was always either crabby or overly excited; she couldn't seem to find a good in-between. Every cat avoided her, mostly so that she could have her space. Plus that, her every grumbling stomach didn't seem to help; Cloversplash had always been chewing on a bone or stick if she couldn't have food. Trout had been her favorite; sometimes, she would demand that Frostedhawk go specifically fishing just to get her a specific fish. In hindsight, she sometimes felt guilty, but it never bothered her in the moment.

Time felt oddly suspended in the nursery; she was wrapped in a warm blanket of perfection. Her daughter, healthy, and her mate, cooing over her as ever, pressed up against her, filling her to the core with sheer joy. Nothing she had experienced in either of her lives could compare to the beauty of her family, healthy and whole.

"Juniperkit, welcome to our family."
