"Go back to camp." Tinystorm's voice was dangerously low as he stared at Deerthroat. He wasn't sure what game she was playing, but he didn't give a damn. "Thirty moons and you have failed to learn maturity. Get the hell out of my sight."

[ Deerthroat has been dismissed from this patrol due to misbehavior. @Katieuwu ]

With that done, his attention went back to the important task: dealing with whatever was going on. Mosstalon and Bubbleheart were focused on checking the nearby mist, so he slunk deeper into the undergrowth.

The stench was growing stronger, but in the fog it was hard to distinguish shapes. Tinystorm furrowed his brow as he scanned the gray surroundings, trying to find the source of the odor.

[ not having him find it - figured i'd leave that to @Lovey-Dovey Ashie if they wanted to @dino. ]

"Hey, kid! What the hell are you doing out here?" The tabby she-cat's fur stood on end as her narrowed eyes landed on a small cat trying to... eat the fog? "Don't you know you're not supposed to leave camp? Now, come on, or I'm dragging you back and telling Pikestar to delay your apprentice ceremony."

Bubbleheart rolled her blue and green eyes at Deerthroat's cowardice as she walked carefully towards the mist, keeping her guard up. She noticed that some of the graves had been unburied, and the corpses that were supposed to be buried there-- were gone. "Tinystorm? Mosstalon? I found something," Bubbleheart meowed. "I think something smelled the corpses and unburied them." Her ears pricked as she heard barking and howling. "Dogs!"

(Is it ok if the dogs come in now?) @BEAR. @dino. @Katieuwu

Uh, what? Violetfreckle furrowed her brow. "No, you haven't, Fishkit. I don't know what kind of idiotic kit game you're playing, but you're coming back with me. And that's the end if it. Now, get your ass up or I'm dragging it back to camp." Maybe this kit was delusional, or maybe he had some strange dream that he was an apprentice. But the apprentice ceremony hadn't happened yet at this point in time. Fishkit was still a kit. And if that kit didn't take Violetfreckle up on her generous offer, she would be pissed.

The warrior's patience was running thin. She was this close to just grabbing the baby by the scruff and hauling him off back to his parents. Or, whichever cats took care of him anyway. She would give him one more warning though. "Last chance. Get up, come back with me now, or I will be dragging you back to camp. End of story." Violetfreckle flashed her fangs as she spoke, showing this baby that she didn't have the patience left to deal with him.

... Strange cat, Lobsterbite was. Wormbite did not understand bite nor what bite spoke of made any sense to him. A soft sigh escaped from him, deciding to shrug off bite's words without another thought. It was not too long until they arrived at the Sleepy Thicket. With the weather still cold, the Shield made a firm decision.

Wormbite was not sure what side of himself Lobsterbite was on so, he kept his gaze to the floor. "Let us split up. With it still being leaf-bare, our luck together at finding prey will be lowered. It will be more beneficial if we hunted alone and met back up.." He lifted his snout, nose twitching. Before he finished his sentence, he turned away and seemed to begin to feel around for a tree. At least bark.

When he found a trunk, long claws slashed across it - leaving a large indent, enough that the blind oriental would be able to feel it. "Here. " Turning back to Lobsterbite, "If you have no complaints, I will head west."

The Dark Lord stalked through the shadows, trudging through the snow with an distasteful stare. The cold bit at the ends of his fur but the sense of duty kept his heart warm as he moved forward. His nose twitching as he scented the air in hope of finding prey for his clan. He did not have high hopes, but he refused to come back empty-pawed.

Eventually, Wormbite caught scent of a mouse. His ears perked up and he lowered himself to the ground. it was partially strong, but not close enough to where he could hear it. Carefully, he begun to track after it. It seemed to be forever until he quietly pushed through a few frosted leaves, coming to a complete stop. He could quietly hear the sound of a mouse scurrying about, searching the snow for food.

He crept forward and when he felt the time was right, the blind warrior shot forward - leaping with a great strength. His paws slammed down onto the warm body and it squirmed underneath him. Quickly sinking his claws into it, he pulled back to give it a killing bite. Holding down until it went limp with it's struggle. Huff.

Creating a marker, he buried the mouse under the snow to come back to it later.

--
One of the most annoying creatures for Wormbite to go after were voles. They hid under the ground and with one false movement, they would scurry right back into their home. The Lead Shield was crouched, ears facing forward as he kept downwind. His heart thumping in his chest with the trill of a hunt. The vole slowly crept out of its tunnel, unaware of the oriental who watched it intensely.

Even with his lack of sight, his senses were keenly trained to make up for what he did not have. He crept forward, just slightly, behind the vole. It hadn't noticed the feline, starting to hop further and further away from its home. Wormbite took one more step and with the sudden surprise of a snapping twig, he knew it was now or never.

The tom darted forward and darted a clawed paw out, grabbing onto its long tail. Jerking it forward, he ended its life swiftly with a snap.

--
Wormbite rolled his shoulders back, vole and mouse in jaw as he pressed against the barks of the trees. Waiting until he felt the indent he had left until stopping. Now to wait.

Lobsterbite had gone a ways before bite stopped. bite found scent travel and followed it swiftly, bring to the end, wear he found a squirrel which he promptly killed.
After a bite of hopeless searching bite returned to the place with the squirrel in tow. @x ghostie
