Axel nodded at Moonlight's words. "Nice. My great-great-grandmother had the ability to control other people with her own mind. She was a nightmare to the world. She's gone now, though. Anyway! My turn!" He said, meeting her eyes, smiling. "I was born powerless. I lost my arm in my first battle, which was with my powerful father when I was about 7. He made this metal claw arm for me. I had to train hard to earn my powers. Mainly in the art of animals and nature. When I did earn my powers when I was 19, my father had gone crazy and killed my mother, I had to end him in my second fight. Since then, I've been hard to defeat. Yes, I still get defeated in battle, but I am not one to kill. I fight, and when one of us is losing to the point where they will 100% lose if the other one continues, I just stop and make peace and leave." Axel explained, the sun halfway down, the moon rising behind them.

Axel nodded and stood up. He turned back into a wolf and had Moonlight get on top of him and he raced back to the town. When they got back to town, he had her get off him so he could change back. Moonlight had spoken before getting on, saying that she wanted to make sure that Teddie was ok. When she pointed to a dark alleyway, Axel turned into a large white cat and approached it with the cat's night vision and saw the keypad. He turned into a human again and waited for Moonlight. "Sure, why not?" He said.

Teddie walked through the city, keeping her head down. Her mind was racing. Moonlight's got someone better than me now. She doesn't need me now. I could just run away. She was so focused on her thoughts that she didn't see the boy in front of her. She bumped into him. Teddie lightly gasped, almost falling over but her wrist was grabbed by the boy and pulled up. Teddie looked down. "I'm sorry." She said, quickly starting to walk away.

She could feel Splitside's glare pierce her soul.

Teddie took a deep breath as Adley went off. About a minute later, he came back, saying that he had the table. Splitside looked like she wanted to kill her with the sheer force of her eyeballs. Adley dragged her to the table. "Her name is Splitside, my former friend. Until I realized that heroes aren't the only ones with bad history. My... my current friend... she, um..." Teddie looked down at the menu in front of her. Her stomach growled as she scanned the menu. "I don't like fish, I don't know what the heck caviar is, um..." Teddie spotted something. "What about this?" She pointed to it in Adley's menu.

Teddie felt bad. Was she making him go bankrupt? She leaned forward slightly when he went on the phone. "Oh no..." She mumbled and stood up, looking for the waiter. "Am I making you go bankrupt? I can take that back!" She hadn't heard the call fully, but when she heard the word "money," she knew that it meant something bad. "I can take back that cheesecake!" She realized that the food was here. She sat down. "Wait! Keep your money! I have money! I'll pay for it! I have lots of money! How much money do you need?" She asked, digging in her pocket for the large stacks of cash Moonlight gave her when she worked for her as a spy.

Teddie sat down slowly, feeling her heart thumping hard against her chest, not of love, but of fear. She could feel her breath on her mask, quick and warm. She looked down at her food, her stomach growling loudly. Grabbing her fork, Teddie ate, without taking her mask off. She was really skilled at doing things that normal people would take off masks to do. As she was finishing her cheesecake, the waiter came and brought the bill. She flinched when she heard the number. She was already reaching for her wallet when Adley took out his phone and covered it from her eyes. She sank deep in her chair, sighing. She had never felt this full in a long time. She burped, making her jump slightly. "Excuse me," she said. Teddie was now staring at his phone. "Nice phone. I wish I had one..." She stood up and stretched. "That was really good. Thank you, Adley." She said as they walked out of the restaurant. She glanced at the sky. The sun was already high. It's almost noon! Moonlight must be wondering what I'm doing. "..." She looked down. It's ok. She can deal with a few more minutes without me. I just want to spend more time with Adley. She probably forgot I even went out. Teddie looked back at Adley, her arms crossed again. "So what now?" She asked.

What do I say?" She hoped she wasn't being odd, talking with her head tilted downward lightly. She looked back up. "N-no! Stay! Please!" She leaped forward and grabbed his wrist, pulling him back but so close their bodies collided. Teddie kind of just froze when she pulled Adley too close to her, making him lightly bump into her stomach. Her face went even redder and she quickly let go of him, looking down. Her face was so hot. "I-I mean... stay. You, um... you are the only person I can talk to like this." Teddie's voice was soft and unguarded.
