*Bearspot*

Bearspot looked at Hollowkit as she glanced around the nursery. He hoped that she would come out to say hello at some point, but it didn't seem like the small kit was there. When his daughter responded, he nodded slightly. "Ah, I see. Perhaps she is simply resting somewhere in the nursery. " Although he sounded calm, there was a slight worry in his voice. Rainkit was just a small kit, after all, and he had to protect her and the rest of his kits. A jolt of guilt hit him when he remembered Adderkit's disappearance, but he tried to shake it off like ants clinging to his fur.

~ Hollowkit ~
Hollowkit turned her head towards Pebblepaw as she muttered something under her breath, looking nervous. The brown kit barely heard her half-sister ask how she was. Why did she say that so nervously? Was she scared of her little sister? Hollowkit knew some cats found her unnerving, but she didn't know Pebblepaw was genuinely scared of her. Even scared of asking her how she was. Hollowkit stared her down before shrugging. "I'm fine I guess?" Then she turned back to Bearspot as he continued to ask about her sister, slight worry in his voice. That was annoying. Why did he care so much? He barely came to visit them.

Almost like she had been summoned, Rainkit popped out from the back of the nursery. She had probably been sleeping. She cheerfully threw herself at their father, happily mewing at him. Well she seemed happy enough. Hollowkit was surprised, but knew her sister was one to be positive and optimistic. Hollowkit gave her a small smile as her sister showed such joy. If only Adderkit were here. Hollowkit was only a kit, too young to protect her sisters. Maybe that was why Adderkit was gone. Maybe it was because she wasn't guarded enough. Well, no matter what, Hollowkit would protect Rainkit. She just needed to become an apprentice. She twitched her tail in happiness; it seemed like Rainkit's joy was contagious!
