Her tail swished and she stood, her lithe frame slowly rising from the ground. "Long time no see, hm? I wonder if any of you really missed me." A chuckle escaped her. She knew how Hannibal was, and had no desire to show.. weakness to him.
Her blue-green orbs flashed with caution, yet hid the anxiety she felt. Tamako huffed and padded in a tight circle as she watched Hannibal. "The Syndicate has grown quite boring, hasn't it? It's not as interesting as it used to be. Then again, neither am I, as you can see," Tamako's voice quivered only slightly, as she had grown more and more anxious of the tom's next move.
You imbecile! With a mental growl, she covered up her shaking voice with a sneeze. It was rather dusty, wasn't it? It must be believable. Tamako narrowed her eyes and cocked her head to the side.

Sarcasm meant nothing to Hannibal, it wasn't rude, it wasn't funny, it wasn't disheartening, it was nothing to him. One might say he didn't understand it, but they would be wrong, he knew it meant the cat held resentment, held anger, or just overall negative feelings towards whatever it was they were speaking about, in this case, him, but it really was nothing more than a decide to help him pinpoint a cat's emotions and feelings at the time.
As Tamako stood, he himself sat down, his unsheathed claws glinting in the sun as they always did, his tail swooping to neatly tuck over them, hiding them from view, his back straightening as he focused his attention on the other feline and what she was saying.
"Indeed it has been a while. I was partly wondering if you had been picked apart by foxes or not. As for being missed, my dear, I don't think you know the Syndicate just as well as you thought you did. Your absence was hardly even noticed to be truthful. Cats aren't missed in the Syndicate, they are simply forgotten given enough time. They aren't mourned, just wiped from memory, replaced by another cat." There was no disrespect or rudeness to be found in his statement, and he surely didn't indeed it if it somehow did sound disrespectful or rude, he was simply telling her the facts all the while his face never changing or contorting.
His eyes watched her closely, looking for every little detail there was to offer so that he could store it away in his seemingly endless brain. She appears to be remembering me. There's caution in her gaze, it won't be quite so easy to gather any more information. What a shame.
"I would have to agree with you. To be truthful, I've given consideration to leaving. The Syndicate is in shambles after the defeat in the battle with Skyclan and Halite hasn't decided on a Co-Commander since the death of Boreas. I've lost most interest in this group and I believe it is time for me to move on." The tom seemed to have completely ignored Tamako's statement about being uninteresting and the quiver to her voice, but trust me, he didn't, not in the slightest. And he could begin to sense the growing anxiety that the she-cat harbored inside of her. She is indeed remembering who I am. How interesting that I can hold such a lasting effect on cats.
The weak attempt at covering up her shaking voice caused him to flick the tip of his tail. It hadn't fooled him in the slightest.
