"Well, I heard screaming coming from the nursery, and I realized it was Stemlily, so I came in to help her, I think the kits may arrive early" He mewed, "Don't worry, I haven't even took a step out of camp" He mewed, he wasn't lying, he had made good friends in Snowleap and Stemlily's brother Stoneclaw

Gritting his teeth, Kestrelstar eyed the two. As much as they frustrated him - and he did not trust either of them a lick - at least they had not been caught outside camp. And it had been a day or two since the punishment had been given. "She doesn't look to be due for another moon," Kestrelstar muttered, shaking his head. Was he blind?

Looking to Stemlily he sighed. "I don't give a rat's ass if you're soulmates," he snapped. The fact that they had walked all over the punishment he'd given them irritated him. But maybe it was pointless trying to argue with the mouse-brains. "I'll be keeping my eye on both of you." And he would. With one last glance, he turned and stalked out of the nursery, abandoning his original mission.

His ears perked up at the question. "Why are you so curious about a warrior that went missing moons ago?" His pelt crawled with suspicion as Kestrelstar turned. There wasn't much time to dwell on it as he heard Stemlily's question. "So. You two are going to be leaving?" The fur on the back of his neck rose as all of the doubts he had about the two suddenly became realized.

"Yes, I am leaving" He mewed, "I will come back later on, but I want some time by myself without all those faces surrounding me, and I want to find my brother too, wherever he is" He hadn't seen him, he wondered if he got killed on patrol, or left like he was about to do, "Kestrelstar, I don't want to be exiled, and I still love this clan, but maybe I just don't belong" He mewed, "If I do decide to stay, a senior warrior will hope to guide me, but.. well..." He thought of staying, he couldn't be with his mate, he couldn't be with any cat, they wouldn't respect him, "If i stay I will be a kitty pet" He mewed, "And well... I am leaving for 1 moon" He decided, "I will come back by the time Stemlily's kits are born, but now I need sometime to think" He mewed, why was he even bringing up Stormpaw, he didn't know, he wasn't being controlled, ever since the meeting, he had been in a mood, and Steamily just added on to it, "Maybe I will become a kitty pet, who knows" He mewed, Then he realized that Steamily brought up Silverspot, a warrior he had a hatred for, "You LIKE SIlverspot?" He asked,

It was funny to watch Stemlily implode on herself. Never once had he said he didn't trust her - until she had given him a reason to by allowing her sister to stay on RiverClan territory. Whatever other times she was speaking of sounded like an issue she had. Kestrelstar hadn't even been leader when she had come to RiverClan and had avoided other cats like greencough so whatever mouse-dung she was spewing didn't affect him. "Alright, let's go," he said, rising to her challenge.

"Your brother was exiled for his affiliation with ShadowClan," Kestrelstar snapped, looking at Stormpelt. "If you leave now, you will not be welcomed back either of you. So if that's what you want, then let's go." He was not going to argue with mouse-brains anymore as he turned to head out of the nursery. Stars above, this was not how he saw this going.

[ next post will be in the territory if they truly want to leave ]

that seemed fun! It was a game of strategy and battle. Can we only play it with two cats? she wasn’t sure and wanted to make sure it was a game they could play.
