Cody froze when he heard 'You aren't my brother.' He bit his lip to stop him from crying out in sadness. He closed his blue eyes, and the tom's legs started to shake. "f-fi-fine..." Cody breathed, voice barely audible.

Cody's ears pinned. His fur fluffed out. "NO! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" He snapped, glaring at Midnight. "I HATE YOU!" With a final hiss, he ran off into the undergrowth.

Cody waited patiently in the undergrowth for Midnight and Mazy to leave. Traitors. He thought as he padded back out into the trees. He carefully made his way back to the den he grew up in. The young tom took in a shaky breath and entered it. He was immediately faced with his mother's body. Cody carefully grabbed her by the scruff, and padded outside the den again. He made his way to a sunny part of the clearing, with beautiful shiny green grass. He gently set Thyme down and began to dig a hole. The small tom dug and dug for an hour (at least), until it was big enough to fit his deceased mother. Cody carefully set her in the dirt, and covered her corpse. Once the hole was filled, Cody padded around for a moment until he found a good stone. It was round and smooth... and pretty big. The young tom slowly pushed the rock so that it was on top of the grave. All afternoon, he worked on gathering flowers to set beside it. He finished at Moonhigh, and sat in front of his mother's grave and dipped his head. "I love you mama... and... i-i hope you don't mind if i live here..." Cody whispered.
