Re: Fisher's Point
You wouldn't be my mom if you didn't. I love you too. Tiny purred, as she snuggled up a bit closer to Nala, although careful not to squash the kits. She loved them too, all of their warmness and happiness.
------------------------ In the morning, Pit was the first to wake up, at least he thought so anyway. Sliding quickly out of the barrel, he decided to go hunting. They would need prey after all, and right now it looked like there were only two cats not tied down able to get it. And he wanted Tiny to stay with Nala. Just in case a cat were to come along that wasn't good. He didn't think predators would be any problem, there were to many cats everywhere, but one of the cats in the area was bound do have bad ideas. Sniffing the cold air, he let out a small sigh. There wasn't much he could scent, everything seemed to be hiding from leaf-bare as much as he sometimes wished he could. After a while combing the forest, he scented a mouse. It took him a long moment to realize it was under the snow, in one of the tunnels he knew they dug. Following the scent, he attempted to cut it off and dive into the tunnel on it, but it doubled back quickly. After a few more attempts, he finally found success. His efforts had narrowed the tunnel such that the prey had nowhere to flee and he was able to kill it. It wasn't plump, but it was certainly better than nothing. Leaving it at the base of a tree, under a few leaves, he continued the search. After a while of listening, a rough caw sounded. A blackbird was in a tree a few fox-lengths away, picking at berries. He wasn't sure how he was going to catch it, but he had to try. Clambering quietly up the trunk, he managed to get fairly near it before it lifted its head from its feast. With a strong leap he pounced and snagged the bird, but also overshot the tree, landing with the still squawking bird in the snow. Killing it, he added it to the pile before deciding to head back. The bird would be enough for Nala and maybe tiny, and Mouse could have, well, the mouse. He could hunt a bit more for himself later. Padding back to the small area that was somewhat free of deep snow from so many paws, he stuck his head into the barrel. Nala honey, I've got some prey. he mewed, placing the bird and mouse inside. He figured he would let her share it out. Turning around, he saw Tiny already at work on the den. It was coming along nicely, and he mewed a quick Thank you. to her before grabbing a few sticks for himself. Nodding towards the barrel, he added There's some prey in there if you want to eat. before adding the last of the sticks to the frame. Now all that had to be done was to cover it. ------------------------ Tiny woke up, and dancing through the maze of brothers and sisters and visitors made her way out of the barrel. The sooner some cats left it the better, and she was quite happy to work on the den if that was what needed to be done. By the time Pit returned the frame was almost done, and she gave him a smile. The appreciation was nice. Nodding quickly, she mewed I'll go see. They might have already eaten it all. before popping her head into the barrel. @~dust~ @Flypaw13 @Moon Kit @Peril @Paradise |

Re: Fisher's Point
She watched as pit left and then sighed.
He was going hunting. She wanted to go hunting! She stretched her front paws out and then as tiny walked out clawed the edge of the barrel. When pit said there was food she got up leaving her kits and took it. Giving the mouse to mouse she said here you go mouse! Then she turned around and sat down splitting the bird apart some for her and some for tiny. When tiny came back in she said Tiny over here! I have some bird for you! She smiled at her happily. -Finn- Finn woke up squirming. He couldn’t wait to see and wrestle with his siblings!he yowled for mama to feed him as he smelt new scents. There where more kits? Friends? He wanted to know sooooo badly. @fly13 @gs29513 @Paradise @Moon Kit @Peril (And if it’s okay with pit then I’m fine )) |

Re: Fisher's Point
As Nala offered her some bird Tiny made her way through the maze of cats again, squishing herself against the curved side to give her mother a bit more room. As she took a bite of the wing, she mewed half hopefully half happily The den frame is done. We still need to cover it with moss and put moss in the bottom, but we're getting very close. Hopefully we'll have more space tonight. It would be better for everyone she reasoned. The kits could have some space to play, both sets, and everyone would be able to sleep without some other cats tail in their face.
------------------------- The frame was finished, just a lot of moss now. Waving his tail lightly to Nala, Pit padded out of the tangle of buildings and cats to find some trees and rock that would hold moss. Hopefully there would be plenty and he could collect enough early in the day that it could dry off before he used it as bedding at least. He was able to find a source fairly quickly, and slices of moss fell to his claws as he built up a large pile next to him. Rolling it into a tight ball to both squeeze out water and make it more efficient to carry, he tucked one ball under his chin and held one in his mouth. Padding back and forth three times, six balls of moss lay flattened in a dry, sunny spot to dry. @~dust~ |

(I'm okay with it too) (BTW anyone can decide who she's bumped into, as long as it's a kit that's not Finn) @~dust~ @gs29513 @Peril @Paradise @Flypaw13 |

Re: Fisher's Point
Night woke up, shivering from the cold. She suspected that it rained last night, since the ground was soaked, rain dripping from the hole in the roof. She walked outside and shook her fur, trying to find a spot of sun to lay down in. If the nights continued on like this, she knew she wouldn't be able to stay here for much longer.

// @Spoopy Eclipse
Misery walked in, saw all the cats camping about, stayed the night, and now she was leaving again. She could not... they were no more than pitiful beggars, all of them! The black-furred molly was accustomed to the ruthlessness of rogues and the harsh cries of predators i the forest. She couldn't bear to stay with lost kittypets. As she made her leave, she noticed another molly shivering. Misery couldn't stand them, but still... She followed the feline into the building, her soothing smile already on her maw. "Good morning," she greeted. "It's rather cold, though." |
