Re: come on, everyone, let's tear into each other
[ powerplay previously approved by ghostie ] There had only been two other times where time itself had seemed to slow around Mirehound. The first was not a situation she recalled often, recalling how her breath hitched in her throat and her wide, crazed eyes had searched for even a speck of light amidst all of the darkness. The second though had been her warrior ceremony. Pride had flooded her, welling inside of her and spilling out into frost blue eyes that had looked up at Dawnstar, her leader. A cat she had admired and desired to be like. Until she grew up a little more. Time was slowing down once more, but there was no pride in her chest. As Mirehound watched her Clanmate fall, terror seizing her in her last moments, she felt heavy as a stone diving for her. Paws cradled the dying she-cat, frozen solid in the fear that even the slightest shake would get her caught. But she couldn't... she couldn't just let Ivyleaf die alone. She wouldn't. Her life - every single life of her Clanmates - it was valuable. "You did good. You fought like a true warrior." Her voice was hushed, just for Ivyleaf to hear before she departed. Silence fell between them as the look in her eyes morphed into one of plain fury. "I will make this right. I swear to you, that those who have harmed you will die screaming." Stepping off, knowing that none of her wounds were fatal and yet they would leave them stunned, she let out a low growl, bending her head to whisper into the ThunderClan warriors ear. "I will hurt you for this. A day will come when you think you're safe and happy, and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth." Another low snarl before Mirehound used her claws to push them off to the side, giving a lash of her tail. Still riding the wave of adrenaline that surged through her, she glanced up and around at the battlefield. Blood was everywhere. More cats had come, all entangled in their own battles. Her former mentor was helping Daypaw and fighting against another ThunderClan warrior. Mossfang was barely recognizeable and near her was a rather large warrior who was ushering a smaller apprentice off to the side. ...What were they doing? Thoughts like that only lasted for a mere moment before Mirehound caught sight of another ThunderClan warrior - standing over the body of Oliveglow. Low and guttral, a snarl ripped through her as she launched herself for the cat, claws outstretched and eyes narrowed into chips of ice. [ @Pheasantflight @x ghostie @dino. ] |

☄. *. ⋆ Ospreypaw
The tabby apprentice let Cinderpaw move his face around and move him away from most of the war, though he could still hear the fighting in his ears as they flickered nervously. This eyes were finally clearing from the blood but he still felt the stinging from the wounds and didn't see whatever Cinderpaw had started to chew but let her spread it onto her wounds.@littlelove |
Re: come on, everyone, let's tear into each other
Letting out a relieved, almost imperceptible sigh, as Ospreypaw let her dab away at his wound. The scar on her own face began emitting low, aching waves of pain, and she scrunched her eyes shut. Time was a flat circle, wasn't it? What had happened to her had happened again. She'd let it happen, dammit.
Opening her eyes again, she avoided the younger tom's gaze out of shame. Instead, she stared to what was left of their enemy that she'd left behind them. "You've-- You've done enough," she murmured, parroting the words she'd said to Rainpaw. It shouldn't be their job to fight those who had zero qualms killing them at such a young age, especially not alone. That was what she had been forced to do, after all. "We're gonna... stay here. If any of those weasels try to get at you they'll en-end up like her." Her soft tone crept into a snarl as she looked out on the battlefield. She wanted to rush back in, to keep fighting... but she had to protect something much more important. [ @perseus. ] |
Re: come on, everyone, let's tear into each other
Thrushfur He could already see what was happening around him as his mind raced into combat. He flexed his muscles and exhaled a frustrated sigh. In the midst of the sense of combat, he could already feel the calculations beginning. He let out a bruising puff of air. He inhaled as much oxygen as he could, preparing for combat in his mind. He spun around as something began to creep up on him. Their eyes were green with malice when they spotted a rosetted grey cat. He tensed his muscles and growled, lifting his cuffs. They were already bleeding, their paws bearing the fragrance of a slain cat. Growling at the cat to come forth and face him. As he moved to fend the cat off, his dark, creviced eyes began to flicker. Re: come on, everyone, let's tear into each other
| Daypaw | | He/Him | | A large white Norwegian forest cat/Maine coon & Turkish angora mix that has cinnamon splotches all over his body; Yellow eyes | ~ Daypaw watched as Shadowfur leaped onto the Thunderclanner who would have blindly attacked Daypaw if Daypaw hadn't moved out of the way. The apprentice looked around again at all the fighting, the urge to run back home and get someone else became stronger by the second. Though. The tom couldn't do that of course. That would be cowardly. The apprentice Unsheathed his claws as he watched the two warriors. If the tall shadowy warrior needed help the apprentice would be more then happy to help. Even if he wanted this fight to end right now. ~ | @Willowfern - Roosterflame; @Cherry~ - Shadowfur | |
Re: come on, everyone, let's tear into each other
Shadowfur jerked his head back as a paw came up, clearly aimed for his eye. His neck cracked as he did so, sending a momentary jolt of pain through him. Roosterflame’s claws raked across his chin, fortunately missing his neck. Shadowfur caught sight of Daypaw, standing nearby with his claws unsheathed. Don’t just stand there! Come and fight! “Daypaw! Aim for the stomach or the throat, whatever you can get!” He reached forward, aiming to sink his teeth into Roosterflame’s scruff. If he succeeded, he would pull the cat’s head back and expose his throat. |

Fear scent rolled off or Roosterflame as he missed the scary guy’s eye and failed to be released. |

➵ wildpaw ❀⋆˚₊⁻∘・
[dw about it!! wild is open for any attacks ] // ➵ @Kat @vellichor wildpaw winced when sneezeweasel almost made contact with galepaw but thankfully she was quick enough and struck the thunderclanner down. wildpaw grinned as she landed her hit and almost laughed at galepaw's almost perfect insults. they weren't as good as hers but they were plenty passible. as she stepped back she was so used to the thunderclan cats not fighting back she was absolutely not expecting sneezeweasel to retaliate. her eyes wided and she tried to bring herself back as the mangy rodent almost connected with her throat. wildpaw wasn't quick enough, and she would've been dead if it weren't for larkfire saving her life. she unintentionally had been holding her breath and took a deep one as the rat bled out under larkfire. wildpaws face was filled with fear and emotion as she watched him die. looking up to larkfire (the cat she had bullied for no reason before) she quickly swallowed and fixed her face before looking up to larkfire. "i'm TOTES fine! why wouldn't i be?? it was just a dumbass thunderclan rodent, me and galebestie were handling it until.. until.." it was just now registering with the molly how serious battle actually was, and that she could've died just now. instead of finishing her comments, she looked at larkfire and nodded before backing away. she didn't want to be here anymore, she wanted to be back home. |
