Cody flinched at Frost's words. He looked at Pebble when he heard the voice. The young tom looked down. "I... it... i-it... th-there's nothing... n-nothing for me h-here... b-but wi-with you g-guys... a-at l-least... so-somebody's h-here f-for me..." he closed his eyes, allowing more tears to fall.

Cody smiled softly. "Th-thank you..." He whispered, nuzzling Pebble's cheek. He padded up next to the smooth stone, and curled up beside it. The small hazel tabby curled his tail over his nose and closed his eyes. Sometimes... sometimes he wished... he wished he would die. Die in his sleep. Then... then he would be with Thyme...
