Moontail grumpily shifted, unable to sleep. It was dreadfully warm with all of the kits and queens in the den, even though it was leafbare! Her long fur only made matters worse, allowing her no insulation from the temperature, and being tugged by nearby cats when they shifted.
Still, so long as her mate lived and everything went well, she could not complain so much afterall.
Hours seemed to pass when her eyes finally begun fluttering. Just before she fell asleep however, she could swear she heard the tumbling of a kitten nearby.

Foxpaw was in the clearing watching everything when Mallowpaw was looking for her, the Molly padded over and greeted with a nod” yes?”” she replied, wondering what mallowpaw wanted. The Molly looked at the prey pile before turning to her and waiting for a reply.

Dizzypaw had walked out of the elders den after taking them home prey and had caught her eyes on a kit. she didn't have much to do so she supposed shed strike a conversation. what if she brought the kit a feather! feathers always cheered her up! she quickly found a beautiful blue jay feather and padded towards the kit. "hello! I'm Dizzypaw!" she dropped the feather in front of her and smiled.
