Mintkit lowered her head, knowing Slatestripe was right. But in her head a dark thought lingered above her, telling her that one day Lilyleaf might not be here anymore as well. Will she abandon me as well? The quiet kit lifted her gaze with a massive effort, trying to get the worries off her mind and focus on the present. She nodded softly to the dark warrior and watched as he made his way out of the nursery.

Mintkit turned to her mother, unsure about what to do. She stared into her green eyes silently but questioningly, wondering what she would do next. If Lilyleaf would suggest her something, she was ready to listen.

LilyLeaf smiled at her kit and SlateStripe. "You wanna go eat?" She asked her kit.

CLoudkit climbed her mothers back then going up her neck but falls into the nest again she popped up and meowed as if she wanted to be groomed

cloudkit sqeauked, she giggled because she was ticklish cloudkit purred as she was groomed she quite enjoyed it

Slatestripe made the decision to leave at this point. It seemed that Lilyleaf and Mintkit were well on their way to spending some time together. He wasn’t family, so he didn’t want to get in the way. It was good for them to spend a little time together every now and again.

Blossomflight snored quietly, snuggling her kits to her stomach. The molly was getting a very much needed sleep, hoping her kits were too.

Bearkit opened his eyes and blinked several times. His eyesight was still fuzzy, as his eyes weren’t quite ready for the world yet. His ears perked up, having unfolded several days prior. He could see the fuzzy shape of his mother, along with a few tiny lumps of fur beside him.

Curiosity was possibly the very first emotion he ever felt. On shaky legs, he stumbled out of his nest. He wandered toward the light coming from outside.
