Re: Sleepy Thicket
Toadpaw doubted that Larkwing would want an apprentice watching Ripplekit and she hadn't been an apprentice long. Anyways, Bluefang had already offered to watch Ripplekit. This was her first time out of camp. Locating Adderpaw, the blind apprentice began digging nearby Adderpaw, relying on her sense of touch. Toadpaw felt cold amd emotionless, though she made sure that nobody knew that. Quite honestly, the only reason she even thought about offering to watch Ripplekit was because she knew that it would likely help her become leader one day. @Sleek @AlliWant4XmasIsDdeonghwa! @peppermintbubble. @TheLostAmongTheStars @The Doctor @RavenzzGlow @FrostyGalaxy

Re: Sleepy Thicket
Birdsnow silently helped to dig the grave, keeping her eyes darting to Ripplekit anxiously. The kit being present was unsettling for her, and since the child didn't even have a personal connection to the medicine cat (as far as she knew), so she wondered briefly if even allowing the little one to attend was a wise idea. But she didn't say anything, certainly not wanting to cause Larkstar any more stress while she grieved the loss of her brother, so she just dug. It wasn't the first grave she had dug, and would definitely not be the last.

Zephyr, Berrie and Skratch all sat quietly watching from the treetop.
Darkdeception kept Smolderkit close to him, and the curious yet sad kit stayed with him. |

Falconflight Riverclan warrior Purrk: Heightened Perception-Sight(inactive) Well, he hadn't expected this many cats to attend though, he guessed some of them could of had relations with Falconfeather he didn't know about but for the most part he didn't care as long as everyone was respectful then he didn't have a problem with it but he was a little confused with why random kits had followed they should've been aslesp unless they were actually close to his brother but it didn't matter as long as they behaved. Placing the body down with Larkstar he immediately went to digging the grave at the first mention of it, scooping pawful after pawful of dirt without stopping or glancing at anyone he just kept his sunken gaze to the ground. He just wanted to get this done and lie in his and weep his sorrows away...then what? Just get on with life? How could he? What do cats even do after losing a loved one? He'd just have to work it out... |

If at some point the earth here shifted or rose or was otherwise destroyed, that was a problem they would deal with then, a worst case scenario wanted by no forest cat - dead or alive. The dirt under her claws was uncomfortable, but she left it as she grabbed Falconfeather's corpse again with the help of whoever the first to pick it up was before she went about filling the hole in once more. __________ [ any cat who has achieved warrior status can notice the loners hiding in the trees - note that unless your cat has knowledge of climbing, they shouldn't be able to follow them up there successfully ] [ @Sleek // @AlliWant4XmasIsDdeonghwa! // @peppermintbubble. // @TheLostAmongTheStars // @Katiethewolfchild // @The Doctor // @RavenzzGlow // @silver. // @Thechaoticdigitalcircus // @poppy ] |

Re: Sleepy Thicket
Adderpaw Determined, Loyal, Lawful Good “One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!” Adderpaw felt like she had worn down her claws digging at all that dirt. Maybe not but she knew for sure that her paws were sore after digging at the frozen dirt for so long. Then she held back when the body was being buried. Goodbye Falconfeather, wish this didn't have to end this way. With nothing left to do Adderpaw got up from the ground and trotted over to Larkstar to give her a bump on the shoulder with her head. "I'm sorry again." She mumbled. It felt awkward to her to leave Larkstar behind after wanting to devote herself to protect leaders like a good warrior that she wanted to be. So she slowly slinked away, making sure to go very slowly so she would been one of the last ones to leave, other than Larkstar. Unless kicked into high gear for some reason. |
