Toadpaw doubted that Larkwing would want an apprentice watching Ripplekit and she hadn't been an apprentice long. Anyways, Bluefang had already offered to watch Ripplekit. This was her first time out of camp. Locating Adderpaw, the blind apprentice began digging nearby Adderpaw, relying on her sense of touch. Toadpaw felt cold amd emotionless, though she made sure that nobody knew that. Quite honestly, the only reason she even thought about offering to watch Ripplekit was because she knew that it would likely help her become leader one day. @Sleek @AlliWant4XmasIsDdeonghwa! @peppermintbubble. @TheLostAmongTheStars @The Doctor @RavenzzGlow @FrostyGalaxy

Frostpetal nodded, helping to dig a burial spot for the fallen medicine cat.

She was silent as Falconflight assisted in shouldering the weight of their brother, a weak purr the only hint she had acknowledged this help at all. Sleepy Thicket was not a quick walk away, and by the time the procession arrived, she felt near boneless.

"This place here is fine," quiet voice mumbled, and she lowered herself, to the ground, sliding Falconfeather's corpse off her body. She turned dull eyes on the procession "Anyone who wishes to help dig may do so, but, um, someone please keep an eye on Ripplekit, make sure she doesn't go running off, please."

Sniffling softly with sadness radiating off of her like sickness. Brightnight sighed softly.
Willowpaw pressed against her mother in an attempt to comfort her.
Weepingpaw sat back with a grim look in his soft face.

Birdsnow silently helped to dig the grave, keeping her eyes darting to Ripplekit anxiously. The kit being present was unsettling for her, and since the child didn't even have a personal connection to the medicine cat (as far as she knew), so she wondered briefly if even allowing the little one to attend was a wise idea. But she didn't say anything, certainly not wanting to cause Larkstar any more stress while she grieved the loss of her brother, so she just dug. It wasn't the first grave she had dug, and would definitely not be the last.

Zephyr, Berrie and Skratch all sat quietly watching from the treetop.

Darkdeception kept Smolderkit close to him, and the curious yet sad kit stayed with him.

Sad eyes watch as others begin to dig. There was comfort in knowing that the clan truly could band together for something as delicate as this. As paws brush and claw away the earth, deeper and deeper, she wonders if she should have told someone about the corpse of Willowwisp that still lay in her den. Didn't she also deserve a proper burial? Swallowing hard, she sits in her spot and watches, saying nothing. What was there to say, anyway? 'I'm going to miss him, he was such a good guy'? Tansypaw was many things. A coward. Inexperienced. An outsider. But she wasn't a liar. There was little that was more important to her than her honesty-- after all, how did one get others to trust them if they weren't honest?

A glance is cast upwards toward the star dotted sky and she silently wonders if Falconfeather is already up there. Would Fawnlight greet him with open arms? Guide him into his astral den to stare down at them all? She can only hope so. Fawnlight was kind and patient. She surely would comfort him through his inevitable sadness.

Well, he hadn't expected this many cats to attend though, he guessed some of them could of had relations with Falconfeather he didn't know about but for the most part he didn't care as long as everyone was respectful then he didn't have a problem with it but he was a little confused with why random kits had followed they should've been aslesp unless they were actually close to his brother but it didn't matter as long as they behaved.

Placing the body down with Larkstar he immediately went to digging the grave at the first mention of it, scooping pawful after pawful of dirt without stopping or glancing at anyone he just kept his sunken gaze to the ground. He just wanted to get this done and lie in his and weep his sorrows away...then what? Just get on with life? How could he? What do cats even do after losing a loved one? He'd just have to work it out...

Frozen earth underpaw breaks and crumbles sinks away. It takes several cats to make any sort of ditch large enough for her brother's corpse to rest. If at some point the earth here shifted or rose or was otherwise destroyed, that was a problem they would deal with then, a worst case scenario wanted by no forest cat - dead or alive. The dirt under her claws was uncomfortable, but she left it as she grabbed Falconfeather's corpse again with the help of whoever the first to pick it up was before she went about filling the hole in once more.

When the work was finished, Larkwing looked upon the fresh grave numbly until she sighed, the ordeal finally over. Just because he was buried now did not make her feel any better, though. She wished his death had been unjustifiable, she wished ShadowClan had trespassed in order to make this kill, maybe then she'd have a reason to want to rip them to shreds. As it stands, her vendetta is purely personal, and she cannot act on such a thing.

"Thank you all for joining and offering help. Those who are watching over the kits bring them back to camp now and make them stay there. As for the rest of you..." a shakey breath escapes her unwillingly, "I'm sure you have apprentices to train and prey to catch. Get back to doing that if you can." She sat after giving the suggestion (well, it probably read more like an order, but she merely meant it to be a suggestion), wanting to be the last out of the thicket to make sure the rest were safe.

Adderpaw
Determined, Loyal, Lawful Good
“One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!”

Adderpaw felt like she had worn down her claws digging at all that dirt. Maybe not but she knew for sure that her paws were sore after digging at the frozen dirt for so long. Then she held back when the body was being buried. Goodbye Falconfeather, wish this didn't have to end this way.

With nothing left to do Adderpaw got up from the ground and trotted over to Larkstar to give her a bump on the shoulder with her head. "I'm sorry again." She mumbled. It felt awkward to her to leave Larkstar behind after wanting to devote herself to protect leaders like a good warrior that she wanted to be. So she slowly slinked away, making sure to go very slowly so she would been one of the last ones to leave, other than Larkstar. Unless kicked into high gear for some reason.
