She had been trying to find a different place to sit, other than her overgrown mound that she'd taken upon herself to neaten recently. It was difficult, it just didn't seem right sitting anywhere else then her usual observing point surrounded by wild flowers above the nursery. Adderkit sat at the base of the grimpeak staring up it, wondering if prehaps that could be her new spot. For variety of course. mother sat up there so it must be nice, it was awfully high up though and adderkit was not sure how she felt about that at all.

A nearby, one-sided, conversation had adderkit turning away from the grimpeak and staring at a pair of two cats basking in the sun. Well the younger one was basking well the other was leaving as quickly as he had come. Adderkit didn't understand the point of greeting someone and possibly disturbing them, only to leave immediately after but who was she to judge. Maybe it was older cat things. She paid little attention to the warrior and focused more on the oddly coloured apprentice. She didn't see much fur with his colouring before, she thought it looked pretty! Colorful like her flowers. He also looked grumpy, like Mother always did. She still didn't understand what brought Mother her sour mood but maybe she could understand from this apprentice.

Abandoning her post, she trotted over to the Tom and sat herself down next to him. Mimicking his posture, she also tucked her paws beneath her and looked up at the apprentice studying his features. "I like your fur, I think it's pretty. Like flowers!" one of her best compliments in her opinion, flowers were the prettiest things and most important plants to her.

Adderkit returned the smile, happy that her compliment had been recieved well. She didn't quite agree with his statement of her fur being pretty too, personally she thought her fur color was pretty generic. Same as her mother and same as her many siblings but she wasn't going to disagree. "are you okay? You looked kind of grumpy.." she began to ask, maybe she had seen wrong. Or maybe being in a sour mood was a normal thing, a lot of her clanmates wore a scowl on their face from morning to night.

"or am I supposed to be grumpy too? I don't get everyone always looks so down. Is there a reason for that?" green orbs scanned over the few bodies that littered the shadowy clearing. Maybe she should tone her cheerfulness down a tad bit to match her environment but her flowers never did stop being colorful despite their bleak surroundings.
