Pokémon: Unite
In the region of Alola, tensions between islands are rising. Each island has cut off all forms of communication to the outside and each trainer keeps to one island. Z Crystals are no longer used and Trials are no longer held. This is all because of one thing. Solgaleo The legendary Pokémon of the Sun has taken out all of the Island Guardians and now resides somewhere secret. It only comes out once a month to wreak havoc on each island: destroying towns, causing fires, and creating mass damage in its wake. However, several trainers have met in secret to stop Solgaleo. By going against the Island Kahunas, they are putting themselves and their Pokémon at risk. Their leader, Fraye, is risking his freedom to unify these trainers in a secret group known as The Sun Raiders, and by working with the legendary Pokémon Lunala. But there are others who want to completely eliminate The Sun Raiders. They call themselves The Black Lions, and they are followers and worshippers of Solgaleo. So, whose side are you on? The Sun Raiders? The Black Lions? Are you a kahuna, perhaps? Or are you simply looking to stay out of all of it entirely? The choice is yours, trainer! It is time for you to choose your path! Thanks for signing up! "Home Island" means the island your trainer was born on; you can find a list of the islands in the second Spoiler in the main post. Your Lillian's Pokémon Team is completely acceptable, although it's funny you would add in Ditto, because I recently just caught one :3 |

Fraye's Cofagrigus was firing up another Shadow Ball when it noticed the boy standing a short distance away. With a roar it aimed the blast at Kai, and with a shout Fraye dove into the path of the attack. He was blown backwards and landed on the ground with a grunt of pain. He turned to look over at the boy with a cough and a grin. "You all right?" @Hallowed Echo thank you for making sure. Yes, as of right now Legendary and Mythical Pokémon aren't going to be incorporated into the roleplay, but I'll let everyone know when the time comes. Accepted! |

Kai's eyes slightly widened as he saw the Confagrigus aim a Shadow Ball at him and threw out his Type: Null out of pure instinct, so if the attack had made contact, it wouldn't have done anything to anyone. The trainer then went to Fraye and helped him up. "I thought a Kahuna's pokemon were a bit more... Friendly than that." He admitted as Null stepped closer to his trainer, letting out a mumbled growl at the Kahuna. Kai started petting the normal-type. "Calm down Null, it's pretty much useless." He added, but right now, one of the most important things was: How did he get one of them, he needed to have a contact at Aether. "So you're Fraye, huh?" He asked. "I'm Kai, pleasure to meet you and yes, I'm alright." He finally said. |

He tossed them up in the air and Mimikyu and Trevenant appeared. The Kahuna motioned to his partners. “These are my Pokémon. Cofagrigus, Dusknoir, Mimikyu, and Trevenant. I’d watch out for Cofagrigus if I were you, though. It doesn’t take too kindly to strangers.” His Pokémon growled and narrowed its eyes. |

As he saw Damien come over, unlike the Kahuna, he wasn't the kind to greet others the way those in Alola did, after all, his family was from Hoenn and he happened to be born here and not back there. "I remember when I started my journey, I wasn't even given a starter from the region, my parents insisted on me taking our family's pokemon, and it was a good choice, others seemed very impressed by it." He admitted, caressing Null's back as he spoke. |

Kai said and smiled at the Kahuna, the only different ball he had on his belt was an Ultra Ball, the others were normal Pokéballs. He then returned the Type: Null and placed the Pokéball on his belt, he gave him a confused look. "Then it's better not having me close... Because Lunala isn't a pokémon... It's an Ultra Beast, and Null would probably go crazy if they met." He added. ((Will Mega-Evolution be allowed in the future?)) |

Kai walked far enough from Damien to make sure the teen wouldn't hear them and spoke. "I have contacts at Aether and I've heard they found something new about Necrozma... It can fuse and create a whole other pokemon, they spoke about it being able to turn into a new form using either Solgaleo or Lunala, and I was told only the name of a third, mysterious form, my contact calls it 'Ultra Necrozma'..." He said, a worried look on his face. "Both Lunala and Solgaleo being the same strength... You know just as well as me that this could last for years, and in not even a year, Solgaleo will have more than enough time to take out all of Alola, so we'll need something stronger, but to get it, we're risking our lives..." He added with a sigh. ((Good, if you want me to, I could have Kai use it first when needed. :3)) |

The trainer said, scratching the back of his head. "Look, whenever this kid is gone... We need to head back to Lunala... Solgaleo is in fact stronger than its counterpart right now, because it isn't trying to protect the islands, but destroy them, Lunala is holding back in order to make sure it destroys nothing, it makes sense when you think about it." He added, it was clear in his voice that he was as stressed as the Kahuna was right now. "Let's just hope we won't meet any of those Black Lions, but if we do, I'll be the one battling, I'm pretty rusty when it comes to battles, has been almost a year." He admitted. |
