Hazelflame padded back into camp after hunting.She had two voles, and an mouse.Hazelflame went to the Fresh-Kill Pile.She set her fresh-kill down and grabbed an thrush from the pile.The golden tabby sat next to the Warriors Den in the gleaming sun,eating her thrush.

Fireclaw came out of the warrior's den. He stretched and yawned, then looked around the camp. He looked at the fresh kill pile and decided to go hunting. He padded toward the camp entrance.

Hazelflame finished her thrush,and stretched out.Her hazel eyes looked over the camp,trying to see if there was anything the clan needed.She figured she might as well hunt,as fresh-kill was always needed.The she-cat padded out of camp,heading into the forest.

Fireclaw decided to hunt on his own since if he hunted with someone else, they would probably annoy him. He walked into the forest, and decided to hunt near a stream near the edge of the territory. He headed toward the stream, knowing it was a good place to hunt. He sniffed a mouse nest under a tree and got into a hunter's crouch. He crept forward stealthily, careful where he put his paws. Luckily, the mice hadn't sensed his presence. He pounced, landing on the nest and trapping all the mice underneath his paws. He saw three mice heads and gave them a swift blow to the neck, killing them. Carefully, Fireclaw released one of his paws and got rid of the nest. There were only three mice there, so he picked them up by their tails. He would have continued hunting, but he knew if he did then he wouldn't be able to carry it all back. He padded back to camp with the three mice dangling by their tails from his jaws. He walked into camp and set them on the fresh kill pile.
