Spicy grunted and headed up the hill, he was nearing the end of his middle-ages and a harsh winter without a den, not really knowing how to hunt, and not sharing a nest with multiple cats to transfer heat had visibly aged him. He was only 60 moons old. In the last moon of Syndicate he was well fed, and looked about 10 moons younger. His ungroomed grey fur was mattered down by the snow (I pressume it’s snowing already in Maine) he looked tired and ready to colapse. He glanced at the cat he saw If this cat attacks me...I’m going to die....oh well....

Bite was pushing past some bushes his fur getting some slight scratches , his right eye had three scars clean through it but he could still see clearly . His eyes were brown while the rest of his pelt was white and his left paw was a Smokey black his claws were long and ragged but very sharp , he scanned the hill he noticed The elder tom and he smirked his upper lip had a missing piece of skin showing off a sharp tooth . His spiked collar was poking at his neck just a bit but he shrugged it off he walked up to the old tom
" hello there " he greated his voice was deep and husky

Spicy felt exausted, he normally after climbing a mountain (hill) would have colapsed in the snow and recovered, but he didn’t intend to look weak. This youngster could tear him to pieces and the wilderness had no respect for the elders. He grunted,” Greetings. I appologize if I was trespassing.” He meowed if I am then you should mark you borders better he thought sarcastically.

He tilted his head as his left ear twitched
" trespassing ? No no dear no! Why old boy you were just tired , and this snow field isn't my territory please I go where I desire " he meowed as he made a paw print in the snow . He smirked again he looked at spicy
" you don't happen to be a gang cat do you? " he asked as he licked his lips he was interested in joining small groups but he never even made up his mind he likes to be free. No trapped or told what to do.

He paused before giving a heave of what seemed to be relief, rather it was exaustion,” I was once part of the Dusk Syndicate. But now I’m on my own.” He meowed truthfully. He was a little curious about the collar Is he a kittypet? He sure doesn’t behave like one...

Bite grinned he had an dream to be the biggest and badest! Like the great cat scourge he has heard of , his brown eyes studied the elder in front of him and his tail flicked against the snow covered ground . The white tom took a step forward now having a soft smile
" well that sounds pretty interesting , but ugh I wonder if one old fur ball would like to be a buddy of mine. No? " he wondered out loud as he pointed his pink nose up to the pale blue sky above him smelling the crisp air. His whiskers twitched feeling the coldness of it.

Spicy grunted,” Any cat who gives me a place to sleep or helps me improve my hunting skills is a friend of mine.” He meowed Truthfully. He was just trying to get a place to sleep. I may be old and alone, but I’m not becoming a kittypet. (he will when he’s much older)

The white tom chuckled as his tail swayed he walked up to the old fur ball and sat down " I have a cave it's not much but it's better then being a house held cat " he meowed as he started to stand up he trotted away a few distances and waited for the old timer. His eyes now had a soft look to them his tail curled and uncurled while he nodded his head to the direction that whent into the woods " follow me " he meowed

Spicy didn’t have much energy remaining, but the consept of something that blocks the wind and snow seemed appealing as he began to trod steadily after Bite. He wasn’t slow, nor fast in speed. Again. A kittypet reference. Is this tom a former kittypet? (is he a former kittypet?)

No it's just that I don't know what else to call cats being held by twolegs except for kittypet and that's clan language )
Bite walked up to a small cave that had rocks on the outside and the deeper it whent it whent into a mountain . He sat at the entrance of the cave and he lifted his black paw then he licked it a few times , he sighed as he watched spicy " I didn't catch your name! " he hollered as his tail wrapped around his paws neatly . He already had grown attached to this old tom he seemed interesting enough to just let him stay in his cave

Spicy wondered why he found it necessary to shout I may be old, but I’m not deaf....he grunted,” The names Spicy. And you are?” He paused (Being former DS he uses clan language as the DS used that language)

Bite hummed at the name , spicy , spicy....it played through his mind like a broken tape recorder . The name did suit him alright
" my name's bite , and if your curious why it's because my bite is worse then my bark " he meowed and cleaned his fur

Spicy gave a rough laugh as he sat down on the cold stone. I feel like crumpling to the ground. This stone feels so soft and warm compared to the hard-packed, cold snow. I can live with a bit of chit-chat in exchange for shelter. He wasn’t the most friendly tom you’d meet, but he still wasn’t mean.

Bite studied spicy and thought that he must be starving
" I'll get you something to eat , I'm not friendly around others but I respect my elders " he meowed as stood to his paws he then raced off into the forest to find something for spicy. He spotted a few mice near a stream he killed them with one paw strike onto their heads , he then spotted a gray shadow in the stream . He crouched and stared at the shadow until he lunged in and hooked the minnow with his claw. He grabbed his prey in his mouth as he ran back
" dinner time! " he called out through a mouthful of prey. He set the food down

Spicy wasn’t much of a fan of fish, but he was famoused. Save the good three mice for last. he glanced at him,” I’m not really an elder...would you like some prey?” He asked as he forced himself to modestly take multiple bites of the mouse Don’t be rude and stuff your face. Eat as though you are civilized He missed the days he had a home and a place in the world...Bite may be giving me hospitality tonight. But once he learns that I can barely hunt and my only use is healing and making nests I’m sure he’ll kick me out. Oh well...atleast some food and a roof over my head and a stone floor over snow is better than sleeping hungry in the snow. Even if it’s only one night.

Spicy shrugged and began eating more he licked his lips,"Just because I'm scrawny doesn't make me old. Kits can starve too you know." He paused,"I'm not much on thanking cats, but thank you for the food and shelter..i don't know how long you'll put up with me when you see how much I such at providing food...but I can heal wounds." He meowed not that appealing but still.

Bite shrugged he may be a Rogue but he didn't mind some cats and healing is a great way to survive . " your welcome and frantically I don't notice any kits around so. And healing is useful " he meowed with a twitch of his ear

He shrugged,"Yeah, though its not necessary every day...hopefully, for two cats that is. I've been guessing on how to hunt for a moon now." He meowed

Bite raised his right eyebrow he was shocked but yet for a 60 moon old cat what you expect? " you don't know how to hunt? Old boy ! Every cat needs to know how to , I'll tell you what . In exchange for your healing knowledge and company I'll give you food water , and I'll teach you how to hunt. How's that? I bet you were a great hunter when you were young eh? " he meowed . He stood up to stretch his legs " speaking of water , I'll go get it " he added and raced off into the tunnels of the cave . ( sound familiar )

Bite jumped down off a slope in the cave onto some sand where the river was small enough to get water but nothing else. He noticed a clump of moss near by the wall and he grabbed it , the white tom walked back up to the river and put his head down to where the moss was deep enough to touch the bottom of the river . His nose got wet and he tried his best not to sneeze the water was ice cold yet refreshing . He jumped back onto the slope and used his sharp claws to get a hold of the cold and slippery surface as he did the water droplets fell into his chest which send a shiver up his spine , he raced back to spicy as his white fur was more visible in the shadows . He breathed quickly as he placed the soaked moss down by the elders feet
" enjoy " he meowed he then licked his chest fur and scratched his ear his long claws catching on his spiked collar .

Spicy laughed,"Were you swimming or getting me water?" He teased lightly, drinking from the water once I recover I'll prove to him that I'm no weak elder. I'm strong just hungry and that makes me appear weak.

His eyes narrowed he's not that fast how fast could spicy want him to be
" it's not that easy it takes a while to get to the river down there . Just you wait when you live down in here you would know how long it will take " he growled he then stood up to go outside " I'll be back in getting more prey " he meowed with a twitch of his ear he ran outside into the snow .

He called back,” Your wet...” he meowed, not just your face. He licked his paw and continued drinking the moss.
