_SUMMARY_
Jungle, Leaf, and Voyageleaf discover a clan camp that is totally destroyed. Cat bodies were littered everywhere. They soon discover a cat who is alive...

Jaynose, the survivor, wakes up to find Jungle and Voyageleaf in the warriors den. Jaynose asks Voyageleaf, in a very hostile voice, who is Jungle. To defend Jungle, Voyageleaf openly challenges the grumpy cat...

(No, this USED to be a clan that thrived but then it was all destroyed. The clan didn't survive and is scattered. This is only the camp. Sorry for the misunderstanding.)

Jungle quickly ran to Voyageleaf. She wanted to ask questions but stared at the other cat afraid he might attack.

Jaynose grunted, "You are one lucky cat, Voyageleaf. Destiny shows that you will be a wise cat" he said, "but for now you are like a trouble making kit" he tuned to Jungle and dipped husband head "nice to meet you"

Voyageleaf was too stunned and hurt to reply... his head dropped and his tail fell between his legs

Jungle spat at Jaynose angry," Voyageleaf isn't a trouble maker! He's lucky to be alive! You should be lucky that we found you!"

"well he was and still is", he snorted. Clearing his throat, he mewed "I sense you have many questions for me."

Voyageleaf was sad, why couldn't Jaynose treat him better?

"what for?" Jaynose asked, "this place has been pretty sheltered enough to block any attacks so far" including that monster Jaynose silently added

Voyageleaf silently padded towards the exit, still hurt. He climbed the nearest tree and clung onto the top branch and stared at the camp.

Jungle ignored Jaynose. She started to pull ferns and other plant to try and rebuild the herb den.

Voyageleaf spotted the apprentice den that collapsed. He climbed down and padded towards the apprentice den. He had a bad feeling what was going to be inside.

Spotting Voyageleaf running to a den Jungle dropped some ferns and ran over to help.

As Voyageleaf reached the den, he recoiled as he smelled death. "No..." he muttered

Jungle stood next to Voyageleaf. Smelling something rotting she took a step back.

Seeing how disappointed Voyageleaf was Jungle walked next to him,"Do you want to hunt for some prey or help me fix the medicine cat den?"

Voyageleaf was thankful for Jungle to desturb from his ever lasting train, He replied "learning all those herbs was very difficult, but it was worth it" he put his sentence on past tense.

"Learning all those herbs" he replied, some happiness returning to his voice, "I thought there were a thousand of herbs I had to memorize"

"no, actually," Voyageleaf said "I could only treat minor injuries because I was still an apprentice. Now I am a full contributor.... or I never will.." his gaze darkened again

"Hey.", Jungle put her tail on his shoulder,"You can still help. Having knowledge of all the herbs is great! Even if you only had to deal with minor injuries you're still useful."

"But I never learnt the important ingredients that a medicine cat should learn!" he protested, "as an apprentice, you only learn the basics and the herbs"
